Thanks Fernando for serving us - GREAT recommendations, friendly, courteous and so fast with our drinks/food…. We ordered several pupu plates and shared for the table, it was soooo GOOD - calamari, crab cakes, ceviche, next time will order the Seafood Platter….MAHALO

Our waiter Mari was the best, we have known him for many years from another restaurant and we were just so happy to see him again.

My family of five adults and a one year-old granddaughter enjoyed our second meal at Leilani‘s on the beach during our one week vacation on Maui. The ambience was superb as it was a nice evening with a beautiful sunset. Our server was Derek, and he was wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful. All our requests were taken care of by Derek. The food was superb again as usual. We enjoyed the calamari and Korean pork ribs as starters, and the pork ribs are very flavorful! They had a children’s menu for our one year-old, and she devoured most of the chicken and green beans. Two of us enjoyed the superb sesame crusted tuna with a tasty shiitake soy butter. One daughter enjoyed the shrimp pasta, and the other enjoyed the Alaskan King crab legs. Even though the crab legs were expensive, there was a large amount of meat within the large crab legs, and the crab meat was so tender and succulent. It was worth the price! My wife enjoyed the ribs and chicken plate. The proportions of food was generous and the timing of service between the appetizers and entrées was spot on. It was a lovely evening with a great meal and wonderful service at Leilani‘s on the beach. We look forward to our next trip to Maui so we can have dinner at Leilani‘s on the beach.

Great food in a nice location. Earlier dinner while still light would certainly add to the experience. Beet salad very good. My herb wahoo was delish and wife’s lobster tails very nice and sweet.

The fish special was exceptional! Lemon butter sauce with capers, mashed potatoes and carrots. LOVED it!

My family of five adults and one 1 year-old child enjoyed a delightful dinner at Leilani‘s on the beach restaurant. We enjoyed the ambience of a busy restaurant and a great view to watch the sunset. The service from Fernando was exemplary as he was friendly, attentive, and gave helpful suggestions and descriptions of the menu items. We all enjoyed the calamari strips and the Korean pork ribs as appetizers. Two of us enjoyed the Opakapaka special with the pineapple beurre Blanc sauce that came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Opakapaka is such a treat when you can find it and it definitely did not disappoint. Two people also enjoyed the Parmesan crusted mahi-mahi with the mashed potatoes and vegetables as the lemon caper sauce was tangy and delicious. One person enjoyed the tuna steak with the Jasmine rice, vegetables, and shiitake soy butter sauce. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Lahaina area of Maui, and we will be returning in several days for another delicious meal.
