Lemon Grass is an awarding-winning Vietnamese/ Thai restaurant by chef owner Mai Pham. The food is delicious and authentic; each dish is freshly prepared by its longtime chefs. Menu features traditional Vietnamese and Thai dishes such as spring rolls with lettuce and fresh herbs, salad rolls, Pad Thai, Thai Seafood Curry, Lemongrass Pork and Saigon Crepe to name a few. Specials include savory, smoky Lamb Chops, Korean BBQ Steak, Pan Seared Lemongrass Ahi Tuna and Paella. At first the hostess said the open table reservation wasn’t valid. But they did seat us. There were two errors in our order. Wrong entree was brought to the table. Correct entree was finally brought after the other 3 in our party were nearly finished. Ordered a to go entree that was also wrong. Waitress was nice but seemed unorganized. Food was good but not exceptional

service was reasonable, not intrusive. Meals, all three, were excellent. The space itself is open, welcoming and noise resistant with carpets making it conducive to conversation without having to raise our voices as is the style is many restaurants. Lovely presentation and excellent dessert.

Food was disappointing but wait staff was worse. Ordered pork medallions. Came with cucumber salad? and vegetables. Cucumber had little flavor and vegetables were tasteless. Vegetables appeared to be boiled and no seasoning added. Green mango salad was good as was the pork. Wait staff asked if we wanted our leftovers boxed to which we responded yes. She also asked if we wanted more rice to which we responded no. When we got our boxed leftovers, the box felt very light. So I opened the box. To my disbelief, only the pork was put into the box. That didn’t make sense. Usually when you ask to have your leftovers boxed, you get everything on your plate!!!We then called this to our waiters attention. He offered to get us more fried rice. When the bill came, I placed more money on the money tray and was expecting to get changed back. We waited and waited and waited to get change. No change or waiter. We had to ask another wait staff to get our waiter. When our waiter returned, he finally brought back my change. It appeared our waiter thought the excess money given was for his tip. Due to the poor service we received, I decided to leave less than a 20% tip which I typically give. I do not plan to return since not only the wait staff service was bad but more importantly, the food was was not up to par. Very disappointed and never had this experience at this restaurant before.

Overall very good for the price. Loved the entrees and the salad appetizer. The rest was just okay. Timing of the food was perfect. Server really didn’t know the menu or the wines and didn’t do much to try to make the occasion feel special. Otherwise it was fine.

Been going here for years and have always enjoyed both the food and good service. However last few times while the food was good the service was not. Both times on Saturday night - almost 2 hrs before we were done with dinner and second time about 90 minutes. Very long intervals between drinks then appetizers then finally dinner. Yes they were busy but this is a seasoned restaurant that should know how to handle a crowd. And finally something new on their somewhat tired menu- chicken dumplings as an appetizer that were delicious.
