   Amazing food and service! We will be back! I highly recommend the seafood gumbo and boudin balls.

   Ambiance was great but the food and service were lacking quite a bit. Some of the worst crawfish I’ve had in Austin at a restaurant in 20+ years. They were overcooked with minimal seasoning. The only spice came from the corn. The Gumbo wasn’t great either. Shrimp po boys and the shrimp basket were solid though. The service was mid at best. Staff kept forgetting drinks or got them incorrectly. Food was backed up by 45 min. but that wasn’t communicated until we asked where our food was. Lastly, there was no QR code or menu when we sat down. The waiter just came up and asked us what we wanted. We quickly looked up the menu to order.

   Waitress disappeared on us. Orders came out wrong each time. No one cared.

   Delicious gumbo and friendly staff. We went on a cold rainy evening so sat inside (which was a bit cluttered) but I can see the outside being a great atmosphere.

   This place is more of a fun bar to grab drinks with friends on a patio. My friend and I tried the boudin balls, gumbo, shrimp po'boy and catfish po'boy. Nothing was great. I don't know if those just aren't their top menu items to try, but I feel like those should be pretty basic things to get a good gauge on the food. Drinks were good. I'm not sure I will return.

   Food is 10/10. Service was 1/10. Hoping it was an off night, but multiple mistakes, missing food order and lack of care by waiter really disappointed us

   Our waitress Allie was awesome and very attentive with meal suggestions since it was our first time. We ordered shared plates for the four of us so we could try everything and glad we did! We all enjoyed each dish but the Shrimp Po-Boy and Hushpuppies were on point, wow! And the King Cake was so good we ordered two to go! I was a little disappointed with the back room where we sat… it was noisy with the freezer and kitchen within 4’ of our table so we moved and it was better. I think sitting outside in the covered patio would be a preference next time….overall it was a great evening, the food was awesome and the French 75 and Nola Paloma were soooo good! We’ll be back soon!

   Ambience was fine. The food we got, fried shrimp and fried oysters we very greasy. My gumbo was all rice. Drinks good.

    Hard bread, soft meat. The crawfish was dead before boiled. But great spices. Cajun queso was really good.
