   Amazing! The ambience/decor is beautiful. We were greeted graciously as we entered the space making a wonderful first impression. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly which always goes a long way with me. We did the wine pairings which I must say were spot on and enhanced every serving. Cannot say enough about the sommelier selections. The food was very meticulously prepared and oh so good. From the appetizer selections (four in all) they set the stage for a wonderful night. I really loved the lobster the most. The gooseberry tartlet cleansed the pallet preparing us for what was to come. I chose the diver scallop which was wonderfully light and so fresh. The wine pairing was perfection! Next I chose the dover sole. It was delicious in and of itself however the vegetable side dish with shredded reduced leeks and carrots and small new potatoes and truffle stuffed pearl onions brought it to another whole level. Michelin star deserved on these two dishes alone. Again my wine pairing was spot on. For desert we shared the dark chocolate soufflé. I have never had one so good. Light and dark chocolate for sure warm out of the oven. Wine pairing again perfection. My husband went a different route with the rabbit and the duck which he enjoyed very much. So glad I decided to come to this lovely restaurant. Kudos to the staff and most importantly the chef! Do yourself a favor and enjoy this Tampa gem.

   Excellent vegetarian options. Cocktails served after appetizers were delivered and chocolate soufflé was slightly overcooked. Otherwise, great meal.

   Service was top notch from the time we went to walk in the door. We weren't even allowed to open the door it seemed. Someone rushed right over to escort us in and make sure we knew where to go. The 4 course menu was a great setup. Four hors d'oeuvres to start, an appetizer you selected, an entree you also selected, and the same with a dessert course. The hors d'oeuvres were fantastic and, honestly, one of them was probably my favorite part of the meal. Appetizers followed, which my wife and I did thoroughly enjoy. Entrees 3rd, the portions were perfect. I would have liked to see a bit more of a variety but the choices were done well. Last was the dessert course. My wife chose one that she didn't end up caring for. But, without hesitation, they got her another that she loved. Again, I can't say enough about the service. From cleaning the table between courses, to escorting us to the restrooms if needed. It was absolutely phenomenal. The space is also extremely beautiful. Countless live plants and warm lighting that shines through the leaves and projects the beautiful shadows on the ceiling. Plus lush, green, velvet seating. Definitely worth a try.

   My brother, sister and I enjoyed a phenomenal experience at Lilac. Server Samantha was truly excellent: attentive, informative, and friendly. Ryan the sommelier offered a brilliant wine recommendation based on our input. The dining space was comfortable. We selected duck, lamb, and grouper, all prepared with great care. The prices match the level of craftsmanship, as would be expected at a Michelin awardee. That said, the quantity of food was surprising - this family of big eaters left a few bites on the table. A wonderful special occasion choice.

   This was our second time to Lilac and it didn't disappoint. The 4 course prefix menu had plenty of of very good-looking options to choose from My Blue Fin Tuna and Dover sole were delicious and everyone else in our party really enjoyed their selections too (Beet Salad, Diver Scallop, Duck Au Poivre, "Cacio e Pepe” Winter Truffle Caramelle, any many others). Also Lilac easily and happily accommodated one of our party who eats gluten free...which was much appreciated. The service was helpful and attentive.

   Anniversary at Lilac Our anniversary dinner at Lilac was absolutely unforgettable! From the warm welcome to the candlelit table with a thoughtful anniversary note, the entire experience felt magical. Ryan, our server, made the evening even more special with his expert recommendations and attentive service. The multi-course menu was beautifully curated, with every dish perfectly presented and full of flavor. We ended the night with an incredible dessert that was the perfect finale to our celebration.    We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our 13-year-old son’s birthday and the experience was nothing short of magical. A highlight of the evening was the thoughtful non-alcoholic champagne toast and the handwritten message prepared specifically to celebrate his birthday. The food was truly an artistic masterpiece bursting with flavor and creativity. Our son, who appreciates fine dining, was blown away by the incredible presentation and taste. The staff took the time to explain the menu and tailor the experience to suit our entire family including our vegetarian.

    Very beautiful setting. Intimate and calm environment. A bit noisy from the adjacent hotel lobby/bar area but it didn’t impact easy conversation. Starter four course was fabulous. Creative flavors that worked as finger food. Not messy. Appetizers were all quite good. Main course was mixed. The duck and steak coursed were delightful. The shared snapper was bland. Nothing special. Avoid. The desserts were all delicious. Service was good. Wines and sommelier support were good Will try again to try to get the experience we had hoped for. . Didn’t match other one star restaurant experiences we have had.
