Located only a short 1-minute walk from Leicester Square tube station and 5-minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, LIMA CANTINA brings you a true taste of the Peruvian capital’s buzzing local food scene: what Peruvians love to eat and drink! LIMA CANTINA is born out of a desire to bring the soul of LIMA to London: its flavoursome daily life, with simple dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals. The restaurant’s chefs use traditional cooking methods to transform quality UK and Peruvian sourced ingredients into mouth-watering dishes. The menu delivers classics such as Pollo a la Brasa (arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve ever had), whilst retaining signature Ceviches and Pisco Sours, and many more Lima locals’ favourites. Fourth time going back, and absolutely fantastic again. Shared several starters and two mains between three of us, seviche, beef, chicken amazing flavour. Great cocktails

Food and ambience really good. They looked after us well. Nice chilled vibe and no rushing to get us off our table. Which is so common these days. Manger really helpful when we fancied a post meal drink. And found space for us at the bar. Will definitely be back! Menu should have something for everyone x

Buzzy restaurant. Nice staff. Food And wine greatly overpriced. The food was good by but by no means special. £18 for a small tuna ceviche was way too sweet.

Overall the food could have had more punch. More flavour, more coriander, more everything. Excellent service. Not sure I liked the basement bar vibe for dinner.

As it was noisy inside, we asked to sit outside. The girl said “they are short of staff, they do not serve outside”. We sat inside and ate. When we left, 1 hour later, we saw 5 tables of people sitting and eating outside!!!! Poor attitude. Food very average

Thank you for your honesty in sharing this to us. We understand the disappointment that comes with unmet expectations, and we apologise for any resulting inconvenience. Please also understand last Saturday we were in a very rushed busy service when you arrived. As much as possible we genuinely offer the best comfortable seats to all our guests as we don't want our guests to feel left behind sitting outside during peak time on a very cold weather (considering we do not have any heater outside). We hope for your kindest understanding. We are always looking for ways to improve our services and your feedback is valuable to us. Hope we could still welcome you any other time in the future to provide you a great dining experience next time!

Outstanding food and service in a beautiful site in a quiet street in Covent Garden. Very welcoming staff , with friendly and professional service; the food is terrific! We had the tuna tiradito ( my favorite) with a delicious and creamy tiger’s milk , sweet potato and avocado; the best ceviche in London -oh so fresh - and a roasted aubergine which my wife loved.Then the roasted chicken, perfectly cooked over charcoal ( the peruvian way we were told) with a basket of roasted potatoes and an assortment of sauces! Surely the best roast chicken I’ve had in a long time! We also tried the lomo saltado , perfectly cooked bites of beef tenderloin in a delicious soy sauce. For dessert the chocolate and dulce de leche is unique, and picarones(?) with a wonderful syrup and homemade lime ice cream… This great peruvian restaurant offers fantastic food and drinks ( gotta try their pisco sours) in a relaxed and unpretentious ambiance at reasonable prices . Will definitely revisit soon.

An attractive restaurant with a nice ambience, and a short but distinctive Peruvian menu. Decent food and service, well situated in Floral Street- not too expensive either. Worth a visit.

Best food I had in London in months. Slow to come, but quality and taste were absolutely amazing, I will definitely come back, and I've already recommended it.
