We have been greeted by a very nice Greek hostess on Greek (due to my last name): that already makes this a personable experience. The dinning room is very nice, there is plenty of space between tables so we can have a conversation without being bothered or bothering others. The food is very good, the fish was excellent, the portions are healthy and can be shared easily. We will definitely come back.

Enjoyed our meal as the food is excellently prepared, however for a high-end, pricey restaurant, there are aspects of service needing improvement. The lighting is so low that I needed my phone light to read the menu. At least a candle on the table, perhaps? Also there was no one to greet us as we entered the restaurant. We waited a good 5-8 minutes for a host to appear to seat us. Fixing these details would improve the diners experience.

This was our first time at the restaurant and it will be our last. We ordered an appetizer of zucchini and eggplant chips. They were fine. I asked the waitress what my lamb would be plated with, and was told a couple of small spring vegetables. So my husband and I ordered some steamed vegetables on the side. My lamb chops (which were excellent) arrived with a plate overflowing with fries, and a couple of vegetables. The vegetables on my plate, and the steamed broccoli and cauliflower we ordered were just vile. Like they were steamed with vinegar…or something else. It’s rare that I spit out food at a restaurant but they were inedible. The table next to us sent their dinners back so maybe the kitchen had a bad night. But we won’t return.

I discovered Limani a couple of months ago and we have eaten there 3 times. The first time we went our waiter was excellent. There was hardly anyone there and we felt we discovered a NYC Mediterranean restaurant close to our little hood. Last night my husband came early and the hostess and waitress insisted that I was there when I texted him I wasn't and he waited in-front for 15 minutes before they would sit him at a table. Our favorite food is the lamb chops, the mousaka, and the sea bass. The tzatziki is excellent as well and the spinach pie delicious. We will return when we want some really good Greek food.

I recently visited Limani and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for dinner. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. The Loup De Mer was a highlight, bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

My husband and I sat at the bar last night for dinner. There was one bartender for the whole bar and he was working his tail off. We ordered an arugula salad which was decent and spanakopita was good but everything else was truly subpar: mushrooms tasted wet but burnt, limani chips were $25 and they were not even hot, the chicken was a rubber chicken that one might have in a hospital cafeteria. The atmosphere is nice here but the food is really not good especially for the price. We won’t be back anytime soon.

We spent a lot of money for a night out and not one person at the table could hear any thing any one else was saying. And then on top of it being way too loud, they had a guy playing guitar and singing and it made it even louder. They really need to do something about the noise level before I go back.

Ate at the Chestnut Hill location. Gorgeous view from the dining room. Food, drink and service were wonderful. Will definitely go back.
