South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. Since we are in Historic South End and on a light rail stop, we felt the name Link & Pin was a good fit.

Nakia was great! She had such a great positive attitude! We went for brunch & she suggested the lobster bisque 10/10! I had chicken & waffles for my entree also 10/10. The chicken strips were seasoned very well but the mint watermelon was so rich with flavor as well. I’ll definitely be going back!

How wonderful to have a restaurant that takes reservations providing regular service on New Years Eve! There are so many ticket only events/restaurants and prix fixe menus on new years eve. Link & Pin was top notch with their craft cocktails, excellent entrees,wine recommendation and attentive service dining at the bar.

New Years Eve dinner with friends! It had the fancy ambiance we were looking for but one of the best bang for your buck shareables menu I’ve seen! General tso’s cauliflower and truffle garlic fries were my favs. Next time we come back will be for drinks and shareables, have to try them all out!

New Years Eve meal at LinkedIn & Pin. The three of us had the scallops, lobster and filet mignon. All excellent. The server seemed a bit detached but was friendly and attentive. The only drawback was a wobbly table that took several attempts from staff to even out. Overall it was a very good experience.

The bartender was amazing! She helped us find a great meal. She was knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu especially when comparing the way they make it versus a traditional bar. This is the best brunch spot!

Best filet I've had out in a long time. Service was excellent. Cocktails were great. I'll be back for sure.

It was our first time and we will be back. The waitress was very nice and funny. Gave great recommendations and the food was on point.
