At the Restaurant at Liss Ard Estate, we are delighted to offer you a small sample of what makes West Cork unique in the most local and seasonal way possible.

Our culinary ethos extends from the fact that we are in one of the most bountiful biomes in the world. Thanks to the abundance of nutrients in the soil, pristine watersheds, and a mild oceanic climate designation with plentiful rain and moderate climates, our chefs, garden team, and purveyors are able to grow about 95% of what we use in the kitchen within 80 kilometers of our Estate. The fisheries and livestock farmers that we work with sustainably supply us with incredible products that our chefs combine to create memorable dishes and which showcase the terroir of Liss Ard Estate, County Cork, and Ireland in a broader sense.

As proud members of Relais & Chateaux, we strive to embody the 2014 declaration at UNESCO to preserve and share true culinary techniques and to eschew shortcuts that diminish excellence.

Our lunch was outstanding. Each course was innovative with an amazing combination of flavours and beutifully presented. All five in our party was extremely pleased with their selections and the range offered something for everyone. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Service by Vanessa was excellent. Very professional, politely engaging and attentive.

Great cooking though I wonder about the virtue of mixing delicious sauces together when sharing plates. A pleasure to be served by trained staff as opposed to students on a part-time job. My only gripe is the ambience of the dining room. Tables a little small and how about something warm like a rug on the floor.

Absolutely fantastic! We had lovely dinners on both evenings of our stay. The staff, including Eddy, treated us so well and the food was Michelin star worthy. Already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!

Truly delicious meal, elegant presentation. Fresh vegetables adequate portion size, salmon cooked to perfection with piquant sauce to balance this rich fish. Mild mannered and attentive staff. Altogether a lovely way dine on a Sunday,

Lovely experience in the restaurant of Liss ard. From the gate keeper to the front of house, everybody was very friendly and warm.

Really lovely lunch. Food was excellent with lovely local and home grown produce. Very helpful and friendly service. We had a lovely walk after and couldn’t ask for more. We will be back.

Absolutely delighted with our experience there! The flavour combinations were incredible!! It way surpasses our expectations!! Absolutely loved it and we will be back and recommend it to others! The wait staff said there is a new chef in the last month and they are supremely talented!! You can tell that they love experimenting with combinations and flavours!

Amazing food. We were a party of 4 and ordered one of each dish on the tapas-style dinner menu. Everything was delicious. One dish nicer than the next. Imaginative, tasty, flavoursome. I never knew cabbage could taste so nice! Great service, beautiful surroundings, will definitely be back. Visited the Sky Garden too. Fabulous. Staff very friendly.

We had a really terrific experience!! Such a warm welcome, delicious drinks, outstanding food and such a lovely team. Beautiful surroundings too. We really loomk forward to our next visit.
