Little Sister DTLA features East-meets-West inspired dishes served in a
relaxed social environment that feels more residential than
restaurant, as if you"re being invited into the Chef Tin's home.
Little Sister's menu showcases Chef Tin's take on one of the more
interesting and rich collisions of food and culture that was borne out
of the European colonization of Southeast Asia. Dishes blend and
balance the spices and flavors of Southeast Asia with French
techniques and Dutch and British colonial influences. The menu is
continually and progressively evolving, reflecting inspiration and the
seasons. Scott Young along with Chef Tin curates the restaurant's wine and beverage program
with a focus on intriguing labels, both domestically and from around
the world. Craft beer selection includes special batches from The
Brewery at Abigaile, brewed only for the restaurant.

the center tables with 2 chairs -> seating was very tight, like too tight.. didnt have enough space to enjoy the delicious food so we end up enjoying wine and small plates & ordering our meals to-go.

Had not been here for a few years and forgot how great this hidden gem is. Excellent dining experience before LA Phil concert last night. Ambience, service, food and company all first class. Will be back for sure.

Always a great experience at Little Sister. We had a late lunch reservation which was perfect as the lunch crowd was on its way out leaving the restaurant with fewer people which improved the overall atmosphere.

Came here for the first time prior to a show at the Disney Hall so we were crunched on time. Our server understood, and everything came out promptly. Each dish had great flavors and and cooked fresh. We enjoyed the crispy fish, with some great flavors in a lettuce wrap. The crispy prawns had a nice light coat, with two nice sauces. Our server was very attentive. Nice vibe restaurant. Will definately be coming back.

Always super fresh and delicious so many great flavors and textures at this place. The staff is so sweet and always offers information for my guest who have allergies it’s my favorite go to spot before we go to shows downtown. The only downside is Valet parking is $20… however there is a parking garage around the corner.

Food was good, but service needed some improvement. Portions were sufficient but waitress tried to oversell by recommending 5 to 10 dishes for a party of 5. Four dishes were enough. She didn’t want to bring appetizer until all members were seated.
