Helmed by Executive Chef Bob Ryan, Little Sparrow is a neighborhood "continental" restaurant from Ford Fry. Inspired by Parisian bistros and Brooklyn’s favorite taverns, Little Sparrow picks up the mantle from its beloved predecessor, JCT Kitchen and Bar to serve the Westside in a new incarnation. Named in honor of superstar French chanteuse Edith Piaf (Fry’s Howell Mill Road steakhouse, Marcel, is named after Piaf’s lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan) the menu presents timeless Brasserie classics and simple, indulgent fare including an entire section dedicated to extraordinary "Frites." Dinner is framed by a top-flight cocktail program and a superbly curated wine list, as well as tableside service meant to make every guest feel pampered.

    I loveddddd our experience! Jose was a wonderful server and made the made a cherry on top…. This was a date night for me and my boyfriend and our first time and we had a great time :) give Jose a raiseeeeee

    From the start the valet service, hostess and server were top tier. The food was a huge disappointment. If you’re into what was referred to as "authentic French food" - that is traditionally "very fatty and high cholesterol-esque" - this is the place for you! But, if you like food seasoned and not swimming in a pool of lard, this is not the place for you. Cocktails on the roof in the summer might be a vibe though.

    After arriving for our reservation on time, we were made to wait for 20 minutes while a table “became available”. There were no further explanations, apologies, or accommodations made. After seeing others who came in after us get seated repratednky, and frequently checking in with the host team, we were finally seated. It took another 15mins for water service and by the time we finally met our server we put our entire order in (to avoid further delay). It was our first time and there was no explanation of the menu. Our mocktails, although described differently on the menu, tasted and looked exactly the same. My soup arrived to the table cold and it was obvious that it had been sitting for a while. The experience was so poor that we asked for our entree to be boxed so that we could leave.

    The Hardinson is out of this world and the burger is always a hit. Do yourself a favor and order the Basque cheesecake for dessert.

    What an awesome meal. The food was just fantastic and the service was awesome. Our group just loved it and can't wait to go back when we are in Atlanta again.

    Cannot recommend this spot . We had high expectation as a Ford Fry restaurant . Service (TK ) excellent under clearly difficult kitchen conditions. We ordered three appetizers, three entrées three drinks, two glasses of wine and the check is over $100 PER PERSON Small cup Onion soup $17 , Really ? “French Brasseries” don’t charge $100 per person We had clams (too spicy to eat ) onion soup ($17 !), and Gnudi (3 large scoops with sauce and served cold !). Then two orders of Lasagna (chicken ?) that were again served cold ( nearly lukewarm) on cold plates and one Dover Sole ($69) served lukewarm again on cold plate with butter sauce that was starting to reset because it was not hot and with undercooked capers ( at least 2 tablespoons ) which overpower the delicate fish . I intentionally touched the serving plate the sole came to the table on….it too was on a cold plate ! The Dover Sole for $69 (which I fully understand ) came with no side at all just the fish on a plate ! My guess is you don’t have a service problem (welcome and waitstaff really nice) , you have a kitchen problem and while I don’t expect Mr. Fry to be in the kitchen. I do expect that with multiple restaurants he have supervision over the kitchens to assure the right people are in place and that the food is hot and outstanding, especially at such high prices. (In a bistro the least expensive glass of white wine does not need to be 17 dollars plus tax and tip) . The menu is very limited, which I understand, but that being the case it should have more items more traditional to a French brasserie that will bring people back. This is not a restaurant I would return to.
