    Love the atmosphere, graciousness. Food was fair, not great. Cocktails were fabulous! Slow service, looked understaffed. Server did best she could as she was also hostessing. Ridiculous parking not validated. Love the history and tradition, but quite an investment to patronize.

    Eating a hot brown from The Brown Hotel was the highlight of my family’s trip to Kentucky! We had a big party of 8 and service was outstanding. The pianist even played my husband’s and my song upon request. Truly a must do if you’re in Louisville!

    What a beautiful hotel! Our dining room was private yet comfortable. Our server, Grace, seemed a bit aloof. We loved the piano player in the main dining area. Food was perfect.

    The charm of stepping back in history, the atmosphere with linen table clothes and piano music, not to mention the delicious Original Hot Brown, made our visit really special. Staff was attentive and fun. Shout out to our server Rob, who kept us smiling and joking.

    The hot brown was absolutely delicious (and shareable). Steaks (got the hangar, ribeye and beef Wellington) were just ok. Drinks were great. Loved the ambience. Service was great!

    Lovely place for a quiet dinner. Tables arranged to minimize sight of other diners. Attentive staff. Special Christmas menu appetizer was just ok. Lamb main was excellent.
