   Great brunch spot. Frankie was an amazing server, super friendly and attentive. Food was superb and vibe was just what you want for brunch. Will definitely go back to try their dinner menu and recommend to friends.

   Lobby was just okay—not what we were hoping for. We went in seeking something more memorable, something that would make us say, “We’ll be back with friends.” Instead, we found ourselves discussing what to write in a fair review while still sitting at the table—a telling sign. The atmosphere felt unfinished. The name of the restaurant seems fitting because dining here truly felt like eating in a lobby—or perhaps a storage room for old restaurant benches and bistro tables that, while not mismatched, lacked any sense of cohesion or charm. Service and drinks were underwhelming. My son and I ordered soft drinks, but they arrived flat and tasteless. When we raised this with our server, we were told, “They all come from the same nozzle, so they’ll all be like that.” So, flat drinks it was. The food timing was another disappointment. My wife and daughter’s meals arrived first, but they were barely warm—my wife described hers as just above room temperature. Meanwhile, my chicken and waffles were excellent, but they didn’t come out until the other meals were nearly finished. By then, the shared dining experience felt disjointed. As a family, we rated the experience: two 7’s, two 6’s. Perhaps there’s potential here, but for now, it’s “maybe next time.”

   Fantastic experience. Had the steak tartare, lobster ravioli and brisket. Food was outstanding, as was the service. Frankie waited on us and was friendly, attentive and delightful.

   Restaurant was not busy but service too slow. Cocktail was delicious. Pear drink from seasonal menu. Food bland. No punches of flavour in either my sashimi or steak tartare. Not horrible just was expecting more. Did bring complimentary tiramisu to celebrate a birthday which was very delicious and generous.

   We had dinner here tonight and it was an experience we won't forget. The vibe of the place was perfect, with an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. What really made the night special, though, was the service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, without being intrusive. They were able to answer all of our questions with enthusiasm, which made it easy to trust their recommendations. Special thank you to the manager, Nick, who came to check in on us throughout the night and made sure we had a great experience! We started with their espresso martinis which were amazing and the best way to start the meal. For mains, we went with the lamb chops and the steak, which were both tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We also got the lobster ravioli which was decadent and had just the right about of lobster. To end the night, our server suggested the tiramisu, and I’m so glad we listened. It was everything you’d want in a dessert, and a more than generous portion. Between the fantastic food, the ambiance, and the stellar hospitality, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back soon!

    The best night life restaurant in Hamilton and its not even close. Brings a Toronto level of dining experience and atmosphere right here in Hamilton. The food is amazing to top it all off.
