Established in 2013, the Local Seasonal Kitchen is located in Ramsey, New Jersey. The elegant dining room is decorated with contemporary artwork, soft lighting, and drapery, trendy centerpieces and a wall of fame that has been covered with framed newspaper and magazine articles that have recognized the famous restaurant. Guests are invited to choose from the extensive menu of fine cuisine, all of which is made by fresh and seasonal ingredients. The staff of the Local Seasonal Kitchen has been acclaimed for the delectable meals that they have created including, Blooming Hill Farm baby lettuces as well as roast cauliflower steak, and roasted Maine steelhead salmon. In addition, the Local Seasonal Kitchen also provides guests with a lengthy drink menu and unique dessert options.

Exterior signage needs to be lit at night , barely found the place in a non descript strip mall. Interior was nicely decorated although tables were quite close together. Appetizers and entrees were excellent, especially octopus and scallops. Presentation and service also good, kitchen a little slow but it was a crowded Saturday night. . Desserts were the least impressive although my wife was excited about a gluten and dairy free item.... Overall would highly recommend, byob saved a little money but still pricey.

The perfect spot to enjoy an amazing dining experience, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion. The chef is an alchemist with his preparations of both meats and vegetables; the ambiance is perfect for enjoying both the food and the company, and the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but never pushy. One of the best pure food experiences in Bergen County!

The food does not disappoint! Great quality albeit skimpy portions. The prices have become a bit ridiculous for NJ - $48 for venison or steak. Think that's a tad high for a strip mall restaurant.

RIP, LSK. We came here once a week and I'm saddened that this was my last visit. Sorry Joan that everything came to the end that it did. Best to all who made the couple years of my life more enjoyable.

We love this restaurant. The portion size is perfect and the food is superb. I got the lobster appetizer with dried cherries and apricots and a pear puree. What a wonderful combination! We were four, brought our own wine - always welcome - and were delighted with what we ate. Desserts were also wonderful, not too sweet, and just the right size.

The food is excellent and the owners are available for an occasional chat. The chef worked in NY kitchens and I'm amazed at the wait staff training. Some of the wait staff are young men and women, but they are trained to serve on a professional level. This is a rare delight in the suburbs. The price is higher than the typical NJ fare, but it's priced right for the level of service and cuisine.

A talented group of chefs create special tastes and a talented group of servers make this a truly lovely experience. Buy your favorite wine and run over to this restaurant.

Local is a few miles from our house and we can not find one fault. This visit to Local was the 10th time we didn't travel to nyc because this place is so good. Local is better than Saddle River Inn, which is excellent. Local crushes Panache, which is okay. Local is better than Esty Street, which we really do likev and is more romantic. Go to Local. It's shockingly good. I keep wanting to find one thing wrong but this past meal was one of the best I've ever had there.

the waiter forgot one of the guests apps and brought it to us 10 minutes after we already ate ours -- then waited to serve dinner way too long.
