   This was our second time at the restaurant. We liked it a lot so we brought friends with us. We had made reservations and were there a couple minutes before 6:30 (our reservation time) but our table was given away. We had to wait 20 minutes till another table was done which was not a really big deal. We ordered the calamari which did not have a lot of taste. Food was hot so that was good. We also ordered the bruschetta, the bread was completely steel. We barely ate it. Three pastas were ordered, a seafood in red sauce which was great. Carbonara, which was drowning in sauce. Pasta was over cooked. The cacio e pepe barely had any of the cheese and was undercooked. Def not “el dente”. Prosciutto pizza was pretty good. The cheese cake was the best out of all the food. Ambience is always fantastic - overall it wasn’t so great but we will try one more time to go back - might have just been a rough evening.

   We came here on Christmas Eve on a recommendation from a friend. Let me start out by saying that the place was very busy and I’d like to think some of the missteps of the night were likely due to the staff being overwhelmed, it happens. I had requested a more private or quiet table because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. When we arrived the place had plenty of open seating, but we were sat next to a doorway so had to deal with people passing through the opening and coming to get the table paper which was being stored next to us most of the evening. The food was good, but not great. We ordered the octopus as a starter, flavors were great, but the octopus was over cooked…came out a bit rubbery. Not terrible, but not good. The Cacio e Pepe was a fun experience, but it didn’t have enough pepper to balance out the incredible about of cheese. The pasta was nice and fresh. I had the Branzino and it was cooked perfectly, the crispy skin was a nice textural element. The spinach on the side could be skipped, the carrots were fresh but under cooked, the potato’s were nice and crispy. My boyfriend had the Bistecca. We are not picky about meat unless it’s raw or burned. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out very rare, inedible. We unfortunately had to send it back which we hate doing. It came back medium rare and while it dated better the char on the steak was an overwhelming flavor. We skipped dessert. The place it cute, service is good and there is a lively vibe. Given the other reviews I’ll chalk it up to a bad night for the restaurant.

   It was such a great experience. The waiter was jovial and charming and took care of us. The decor inside was beautiful for Christmas. The food was absolutely delicious umami and on point. Perfect cook job. Couldn’t think of a single complaint. It was an amazing experience.

   I was disappointed that we had to wait a while when we had reservations looks like you over booked. Then we got to sit down we felt rushed through the whole dinner time were there. Very loud too specially man singing Happy Birthday to people. Food was much better than first time I ate there.

   The food was amazing. Nice portion sizes. Only negative is that is was a bit cramped. Looking forward to going back.

   Love love love this place it was my first time trying it, and it reminded me of New York and the family restaurants  in all the boroughs. Those places are ones you can walk in and feel like your family and everybody’s enjoying a yummy meal and there’s so much passion and love and joy!!! I’m so excited to have found this place and I’ll be bringing all my friends and family here i’m hungry

    The entire dining experience was delightful. We had a party of five people. Everyone enjoyed the ambience, the food, and the timely service. Loccando Sorrento may be the best restaurant in downtown Campbell. We always have a great time when we go. Two big thumbs up!!
