The Locavore experience brings a collective of passionate foodies, coffee enthusiasts and hospitality professionals together to create something pretty special. Situated the lower end of Lilydale in a beautiful heritage building, built in the late 1880s, we offer a distinctive dining & food store experience. Thoughtfully curated local produce, coffee roasted onsite and professional service makes for a truely transformative dining experience.

Cooking brings us together, and it continues to create communities ― and with community comes feelings of connection and happiness.
Locavore Studio is based on the concept of “Produced within 100kms of consumption”.
Sustainability moving into the future is at the forefront of our minds and we are taking important steps to look after our planet and community moving forward. With relationships with local farmers, specialty artisan suppliers and butchers, our goal is to minimise our environmental footprint as best we can for a better future.

We had a lovely dinner at Locavore for Valentine's Day. All the dishes we had were so delicious and well cooked. The matching wines we had with them were very nice too. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitly be back again. It is a little gem in Lilydale. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, comfortable and spacious setting. Great staff, that knew the menu very well and we’re able to make modifications and suggestions. We had a fantastic night.

We celebrated a wedding anniversary at Locavore for dinner recently and were so impressed with the customer service, food and attention to the dining experience. The braised lamb shoulder was melt in the mouth amazing! So good🙌🏻Definitely recommend this place for a quality dining experience ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyed our first Friday night at Locavore Studio. Service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. We look forward to our next visit.

The food was delicious and innovative. We had the 'feed me' experience which was a generous serving of yummy food that came to us at a well moderated pace. Service was friendly and attentive and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely delicious. The mood, the music, the food, the wine. Just chefs kiss. My friend had the snapper and I had the pork, we also shared a side of beans and potato’s. Absolutely delicious. The only down side is I loved the Shiraz so much but I can’t bloody afford to buy it at Dan Murphy’s 😂 thanks guys, I’ll be back!

Love locavore. Such a beautiful restaurant in Lilydale. Food absolutely delicious. Great ambience and staff so nice. So good to have a great place for a nice casual night

Dined at Locavore Studio for Mothers Day and had a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, there were no issues with a last minute dietary request. The food and drink were delicious. Even though it was a full house it did not feel loud or overstimulating. Will definitely dine again, thanks to the team for a great day.
