I decided to treat my daughter to dine here because she had never been and I was certain it would not disappoint. The food was fantastic but the service could have been better. Our server kept bypassing our table when serving bread (a must with the garlic shrimp), asking for a decision on entree after 20+ minutes done with appetizers, and offering a dessert option while waiting for 30+ minutes after finishing our paella. We felt neglected. Regardless, we tipped decently and will be returning, thinking that this may have just been a blip in what otherwise is an outstanding, traditional Spanish cuisine staple in New Orleans.

Came in as last table and the service and food was outstanding. Garlic soup and shrimp are a must....any of the paella and the calamari fantastic! Great wine selections too. Thanks all.

My wife and I enjoyed the seafood paella. The seasonings, cooking and presentation were excellent. Our server made it a wonderful meal for us.

Such a shame this restaurant used to be one of my favorites however this recent visit was not pleasant. I did enjoy the mariscos soup as usual but the duck entree I ordered was not very good. The mashed potatoes were served hot but had too much of a lumpy texture and the portion amount of duck served was minimal. My other diners ordered the tuna and trout entrees but complained their dinners arrived cold to the touch. I did miss all the eclectic paintings and furnishings of the older version of this restaurant. Now white spackled walls leave a cold not inviting ambiance to the dining experience. For me on this occasion there are alot better restaurants in the city to spend hard earned entertainment dollars on.
