The restaurant is going through an administrative change and buyout with LOMO Restaurant LTD ceasing trade on 24/10/22, rendering all restaurant reservations “confirmed” by OpenTable after this date cancelled.

Please note that the buyout will not affect confirmed Private Hire bookings; which will all be honoured and subsequently run by the new management company, with most key operational staff kept on. ‘Provisional’ Private Hires are also secure, with your registered interest in the date already collated and sent over to the buyers. Any subsequent deposit payment required to confirm your booking will be processed by the new management company and you should expect to be contacted by them over the next few weeks.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere regret and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the sudden change of hands, and to thank also all of our highly esteemed patrons for their custom over the last 3 years.

I booked a table for my birthday I needed to pay a deposit and send in a preorder. I was chasing them! The service was poor, both the waitress and the manager on duty were moody. We were a table of 8 adults squeezed into a booth for 4-5. It was like we were an inconvenience. They missed an item from the preorder and blamed me. Then realised it was on there. So they offered us a round of drinks but no apologie. We didn’t want to leave a tip but felt as it was on the bill it was rude not too. They messed up the bill and didn’t remove the desserts we cancelled and then as we were leaving said we had underpaid and we owed extra. It was just a mess and pretty disappointing considering I was recommended this place by a friend. Don’t bother going unless you like Karen service!

Good food and menu choices. Poor service, ordered drinks a few times still didn’t receive them. Service charge taken without choice.

We ran late due to car trouble. Booking was for 12:30 brunch, tried calling From 11am and there was no answer till 12:20 and was told I’m calling too late even though they had just opened. Anyway, arrived at 12:45. The drinks service with bottomless Prosecco was excellent. My glass was never empty. The food is not nice, ordered the burger which was dry, chips were very oily and tasted like used oil. By 1:30 the host told us we had 20mins left and they would need to move us outside. At this point we had not started eating our mains and we were rushed to finish our mains and were told we can eat dessert outside. By 1:50 they packed up our table and moved us outside. Luckily the sun was out. Dessert came 45mins later. We ordered the sorbet which tasted like lemon concentrate and was literally a spoonful (filled up the dessert spoon with one scoop). There was a live DJ, the deco was nice, the waitresses were nice but overall not a great experience and will not be coming back.

A lovely lively atmosphere on a Saturday evening. Lots of groups but equally couples on date night too. The menu has been well curated with something for everyone and the taste and presentation is great. The cocktails are fantastic. Service was great, especially as the restaurant was full and there was a private function upstairs too. Overall a superb evening and would 100% recommend!

Waited 2 hours for food. Food had to be sent back and also had to order more drinks as the wait was so long.

Great restaurant, recently changed hands but the food and drinks were fantastic! Definitely recommend the lychee and rose martinis! 😉

Booked a table on a Tuesday evening for my husband and myself as it was his birthday. No problem booking. However, my son wanted to surprise his dad by joining us for dinner. So I tried to contact LOMO to ask for a table for 4 instead of the table for 2 I had originally booked. LOMO is not open on a Tuesday until 6 pm. So I sent emails and left voice messages and texts all day asking for a change to my booking. Even after 6 pm when they were supposed to be open I rang twice and still couldn't get through. In the end I left a message cancelling my booking and booked another restaurant which fortunately had space at very short notice. NOT impressed with comms! Can't comment on anything else, as we didn't get to go there.

Starting with the good, the food once it arrived was really nice, but thats one it arrived. We arrived a 7pm a family of 4, Lomo was ⅓ full with people enjoying their early evening. We ordered drinks which came but the bottle of wine was not available, and a replacement was offered with it being one of the only rose on the menu there wasn't much choice but at accept. This turned out to be dreadful and upon a quick google the premium £60 bottle was in fact £8.99 from any supermarket. Moving on we ordered food, only to be told there would be an hour wait as a party of twenty which had ordered their food after us had been mixed up and their food was in the order before us. Then 30mins in the DJ turned the place into a rave, even the waitresses could hear people ordering. 2½ hours later we left, tied, deaf and disappointed.
