At the Lord High Admiral, all our food is cooked fresh to order, with the finest locally sourced ingredients. Featuring meats from family butchers and fresh fruit and veg from a devon farm-based grocers, we reckon we have something delicious for everyone.
Mondays through to Wednesday are our burger nights featuring our brand new smash burgers, alongside korean chicken, Moving Mountains and Miami vegan burgers. 2 x Burger & Fries for £20! (t's & c's apply)

Thursdays through to Saturdays we have a full kitchen offering, with our signature burgers, loaded fries, homemade nachos and a delicious selection of smaller dishes.

On Sundays we have our notorious LHA Sunday Roasts! Summer time hours of 12-3, and winter hours of 12-6, we serve up the best meats from Allison's Butchers in Elburton alongside locally sourced fresh veg and homemade yorkies.

The food was Delicious and the service was excellent. However on returning home and looking over the bill we discovered we had been charged for drinks that we didn't have. There was four of us and we had 5 drinks.Our food was 4 Roasts with extras & 3 desserts which totalled £112.50. Our bill with drinks totalled £155.10 Plus Discretionary 12.5% service charge came to £174.51. The Lord High Admiral was recommended to us for their Sunday Roast which was very tasty but I prefer to have it as my choice to leave a tip or not and to get charged on top for drinks we never had leaves a question on their service and how attentive they really are. Not sure I would return even though we thoroughly enjoyed the food. I suggest you check your bill before you leave.

Best veggie roast I've had in a pub/restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Had read great reviews about the Sunday roast. Decided to try it. Got a reservation easily. Arrived on time. Pub was freezing and remained so throughout. Shocked at price. £18.50 for main course only. This is just a normal pub! Food arrived promptly. Server was very good. Carrots overcooked, potatoes probably cooked the day before and reheated, parsnips soaking in fat, pork passible but no crackling. Gravy no taste and looked like brown water. Disappointed 😞

We all had Sunday roast, it was delicious very good value for money! all the staff were very attentive. The only complaint would be it was very cold where we were sat, especially for my 91 year old mum. Otherwise would highly recommend.

My wife and I had sunday lunch at the LHA which was excellent, if we were to picky, it was a little cold in the back room but not to the point which would have spoilt our meal which was delicious. Its a lovely cosy local pub with excellent staff and service.

We had a great lunch experience, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt! I've been there many times before and highly recommend this lovely pub! It has a friendly and warm atmosphere and is a lovely place to enjoy great food and good company.
