In 2007, Mariano Codaro and Costa Grillas met in Miami and after working together for almost a decade, they followed their dreams of teaming up to open up a quaint boutique restaurant. They pictured a place where residents from the community could feel at home and enjoy a great meal at a fair price with impeccable service. Loretta and the Butcher is that dream fulfilled!

"Had an amazing dinner with friends at Loretta & The Butcher. It was my 17th year anniversary and I had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The highlight of the night was the osso buco—tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was a delight! Definitely a spot worth visiting if you love great Argentinian food. Can’t wait to come back!"

Good basic dinner. Had the salmon and my husband got one of the Milanese. Nothing amazing but definitely not bad. Would return for a lowkey easy meal.

Plenty of options. Food is all good. The brunch items are unique and their home brewed beer is super tasty.

Perhaps it was Saturday night, my salmon portion came out so small half of the normal size and the risotto came with a very small portion too. We did not have such a experience before at Loretta & the Butcher. Honestly, yesterday dinner was quite disappointing.

everything was beautiful. I enjoyed my food. we made some new friends at the location. when we visit Miami again we definitely eat here again

The staff did a fantastic job accommodating our large party, of nine. We were able to sit outside. Beautiful weather, the rib-eye was outstanding, will certainly be dining there again. Always a pleasure going to Loretta and the Butcher!

Even though we are not beef eaters, my husband and I had a wonderful meal at Loretta & The Butcher. I had pollo Milanesa with a salad and he had grilled salmon with vegetables. They have a very nice selection of wines and on Monday and Tuesday you get two bottles for the price of one. Laura was our server and did a great job. We will definitely be going back to Loretta when we are in Coconut Grove. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

We held a business dinner for 10 people. The atmosphere was amazing, and the service was spectacular. We will definitely be back in the future.

Lovely little spot in the grove. Highly recommend sitting outside on the terrace for wonderful ambiance. The food is great quality and very fresh. They were also easily able to accommodate an allergy. Definitely will be returning to try their brunch.
