TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

Food was delicious but service was truly one of the worst. Our waitress was abrupt and hurried us off our table despite paying over £200 for 2 of us for a few dishes and drinks. The wine I ordered had very little in the glass and looked like it had a measly portion for £17 per glass so I questioned it. She came back to table with a measuring jug and poured water into a glass to prove a point and then walked off- quite embarrassing really and it was humiliating. Then she hurried us off our table abruptly. Can’t fault the food though.. it was delicious but I wouldn’t hurry back to pay that amount of money and be treated so poorly

As usual the food, ambience and service was first class. However, the experience was spoilt due to the policy of being allocated a table for only 1 3/4 hours. I think 2 hours is more than reasonable hence marking the venue down to 3 stars overall. I’ll consider recommending or coming again if that policy is changed.

Lovely ambience and great service. We were seated in the covered rooftop area, was beautifully decorated and cosy. Servers were very friendly and helpful. The food was nice but was not special, the flavours were not as punchy or stand out as I would have expected from a mix of Japanese and Mexican. We were a vegetarian party so that may be a lack in the flavours of the vegetarian options. Menu is large and vast and the drinks and dessert options are great.

Lovely experience, our waiter was very attentive and the manager, Elvis, gave us a vip experience with a lovey tour of the venue. Will definitely be coming again!

Incredible experience! Not having to worry about gluten AND delicious and innovative food made the evening one of the best in memory. The space is beautiful and the concept creative. Staff was warm and helpful with ordering. Can’t wait to come back.

Great experience, amazing food and service was great too. I did say it was a birthday and if something could be done but sadly that note I placed on the booking wasn’t acknowledged

Vibe was nice our male waiter was nice the women we had was so rude and kept giving dirty looks when asking about the menu.

Service was horrible. The server kept rushing us saying “you need to order now, or the food won’t come out before you need to give up the table” but then when we were ordering he would be distracted and mix up the order and not be paying attention. Terrible service!

The order was taken very wrong - as a result it was too much food Also - the food delivery doesn’t fly sir into account they the food was ordered for different people - so we had to wait with no food for one person whilst the fish course would be finished by the other one as an example Lunch didn’t flow
