Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

Over priced Thai food. Used to be good but quality has gone down tremendously. Stay clear of this tourist trap. With all that is going on with Vegas, there are plenty of other options.

My server, runner and Busser people were phenomenal. Patience and execution of orders with the approach of mentioning their Selections that made the food flow. Food was on point made with love and server was punctual with a beautiful smile. Keep up the great work and ty for welcoming us like it was home in Thailand

The food was good , the bus person was amazing serving drinks and water THE SERVER WAS RUDE REALLY BAD NOT EVEN ONES ASK IF WE NEED ANYTHING ELSE THE WORST SERVER I EVER HAVE IEVEN REGRET LEAVING S TIP WE ARE NOT COMING BACK !!! I WILL ALSO WILL PUT REVIEWS IN GOOGLE AND YELP !!!we paid over $250 for the worst service!!! Terrible!🤬

The cocktail glass had an unfortunate smell. They replaced it. The crispy duck presented well but tasted gamey. The spice level was way above 2 (requested). They brought some curry sauce to dilute. The Masaman curry was ok, but leave out the ridiculous cherry tomatoes. They brought us the wrong check, not even close to our order. Did not approach the experience at the west Las Vegas location.
