   The appetizer combo was great. Our sever was attentive. We Ordered a couple of deep dish pizzas. The toppings and cheese were good, but the crust was unusually hard. We've had Chicago deep dish at many places, but the crust has never been this hard and tough. The table next to us left the entire crust to their pizza and just ate the inside, so apparently it wasn't just ours that was extra hard.

   I have enjoyed Lou Malnati’s in Chicago and my expectations in Broad Ripple were high. Service was fine, house salad was very good but the two pizza’s that we ordered (deep dish cheese and Chicago Style) were not good at all. The crust was dry and not buttery as all… it was a flat pizza. LM’s in Broad Ripple missed the boat! I’ve had Lou Malnati’s frozen deep dish pizza better! This was very disappointing… lack of care for customers was very evident.

   We booked an outdoor seating, got there and said we do not take reservations for outdoor. I have email confirmation! Well then don’t allow it on OpenTable. So we sat down in the bar area and had to wait about 8 minutes before our waiter came over, then he said we are out of Coors Light. Who on a Saturday night in August is out of beer, that wasn’t the only brand they were out of. Then the table behind us said they have been waiting for their pizza for 45 minutes. The staff had it to go and it was to be eaten in. My husband and I looked at each other and said let’s leave.

   First time at Lou’s for our family. We enjoyed the outdoor seating as it was perfect weather & another restaurant had a band we could hear from across the canal. The service was great from the hostess to our server. She was kind & attentive!! The food was great as I have heard about the famous Chicago deep-dish pizza for decades. We will most definitely go back in the future! Great job!

   We have been to Lou Malnati's in multiple locations through the years and have put the chain in the top 3 pizzas we have enjoyed. The Indy location always seemed to be missing something...maybe the ambiance or the attention to "Pizza Heritage" of the Chicago area. It's been a while since we have visited the Broad Ripple location because of these perceived misses. This latest visit has changed our opinion in a good way! From Jo greeting us with enthusiasm, eye contact, and a sincere smile - to Ash, our waiter, being on top of his game with drinks, salads, conversation, and our great pizza. We really enjoyed our evening and will be back in a shorted time span than the last time. Congrats to the team in the Broad Ripple Broad Ripple Lou Malnati's for the changes you've made to bring the Chicago experience to Indy. See you again soon!

   First time at the dine in location in Broad Tipple. Sat on patio. Wonderful setting and food was sooooo good! Love Lou’s Classic!

    I wouldn’t go back to this location; food was good, restaurant not busy at all. Pamela was very nice, our waitress and then went on break and had someone else; Floors were sticky, and tabletop; bathroom had no toilet paper and had not been tended to, just had a weird vibe there!
