Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service. We strive for these goals while maintaining both a respect to, and a responsibility for, the health of our ocean waters.     Fabulous again and again, Lovers Seafood would shine even if it were on a coast, rather than North Texas. Of course, a five-star rating begins with the insightful menu and the top-notch cooking — but the service is a delightful bonus, and not because it’s formal, but because it’s EXPERT. Do yourself a favor and put yourself into the sure hands of your server!

    As always, food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Can't miss with any appetizer or entree. Highly recommend.

    As always both the food and the service were excellent. Today’s entrées included crab-legs, salmon & Shrimp ‘n Grits. All were delicious

    Really enjoyed the food. Service was great. Had one annoying person from bar come onto the patio area talking on her cell phone like she was home. So annoying!

    The food was honestly just mediocre but the service was very good. The staff was very nice and the servers were very attentive. The food portions are relatively on the smaller side in comparison to other restaurants but the prices for entrees are a lot less than an upscale restaurant so I would say you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a decent meal that moderately priced then this is the place.

    Enjoyed everything!! I was pleasantly surprised! I had the shrimp and grits and they were the best I have ever had!
