Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel.

“There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister,” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different. LSXO offers straight-up, honest, home-style Vietnamese cuisine—the type of food I grew up eating with my grandparents in the San Gabriel Valley

Bring back the chiccaron and the okra from the original menu. LSXO remains one of our favorite places to go! It's a special dining experience!

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at LSXO in Huntington Beach. The service was exceptional, and the drinks were expertly crafted. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, making for a truly memorable meal. We left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to return!

Didn’t like the table they gave us by the door. Need to move the table so the people eating at that table is not too close to the door.

Great place to just sit and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Each dish is unique with interesting tastes. Service is beyond excellent. The music volume was fine, but the music was not my taste. Some good lounge music like Buddha Bar would suit the ambiance better.

We celebrated our anniversary here. The ocean view was beautiful. The ambiance lovely and the food was delicious! We shared the papaya salad, sea bass, and the red and black rice. We recommend them all
