   To begin, we were seated upon arrival next to a table of 12 people when there were other two and four tops, available away from the large group, that were never filled the rest of the evening. There was little room between our table and theirs, and their waitress often had to walk around our table to serve them. Bread and water were brought out immediately, but then we waited 10" for our waiter. We saw the manager at the host stand talking to the hostess. I tried to flag her down, but she never acknowledged us, and continued talking to the hostess. Later, she said she was working on menus, but never once was a menu picked up or looked at by her. During this time, multiple waiters were walking by us, but never acknowledged us. The only reason we finally got a waiter was because we stopped another waiter to ask for our server. He said he would be our waiter and returned to get us menus. A different server then returned to our table to tell us she would be our waitress. We explained our wait time and she proceeded to tell us that she did not see us seated. How that could be possible, we don't know, since she walked by our table multiple times prior to that and waited on other people who were seated after us. Her service, afterwards, was fine. We noted that she did go up to the hostess stand immediately after tending to us, and appeared to talk to the manager, however, the manager made no attempt to come to our table afterwards. We both ordered the Costell Corte. The menu stated it was made with diced vegetables and port wine. It basically tasted like a bland pot roast in gravy and it was very fatty. There were no diced vegetables, instead, it was served with asparagus and potatoes. The potatoes, however, were very good. I've eaten at Luca West in the past and I have been very satisfied with the service and food. I was extremely disappointed this evening, especially the manager's response to the poor service. It was my husband's first time, so not a good impression.

   There was a tall plant we and our waitress had to duck under to get to our table. Maybe it could be trimmed up for future customers. Besides that 5/5. Good value and delicious food.

   The place was packed and the service was great. The food was timed perfectly and was hot. Hard to do on a regular night let alone a holiday. Great job!

   We have eaten at Luca several times and have always had a great meal with great service. Waiter was excellent and the ambiance is always nice.

   Fantastic food, best steak I’ve ever eaten! Special was 18z ribeye… and let me tell you, I couldn’t cook a steak like that if I tried! We went for our anniversary and the way we were treated was phenomenal. Diana was our server and she amazing! Highly recommend!

    Very LOUD. Unexpected for 1st time here. Veal parm amazing. Mare was disappointing- shrimp and muscles good. Broth disappointing and served with too much pasta. Seemed liked a pound?!! Missing flavor. Bread is amazing.
