Its art deco styled dining room – designed by Bates Smart – provides a sophisticated backdrop to a contemporary Australian menu with Italian accents.

Celebrating Melbourne’s history of Italian immigrants and its evolution into a cosmopolitan culinary city, Luci is a contemporary Australian restaurant housed within the grand hall of the historic Equity Chambers Building.

Join us for a night where olive oil takes center stage, enhancing every dish with its rich, golden flavour. In collaboration with award-winning local olive oil producer Goldi, guests will hear from the maker about the olive oil process and the benefits of homegrown EVOO. Guests will enjoy a four-course shared menu, ending with an indulging olive oil dessert as well as unlimited drinks on the night. Plus, each guest takes home a bottle of Goldi olive oil to savour the experience long after the night is over. No dietaries allowed for this event. RSA rules apply. Drink responsibly.

From start to finish this experience was exceptional. The wine selection was spot on, the appetizers were spectacular in taste, presentation and inspiration. The meal was topped off with a delicious and unique desert. Couldn’t ask for a better first night in Melbourne.

I did not feel comfortable during my time there. I was not welcomed by the rude staff and felt hurried by them (as if they wanted to get me out as quickly as possible), the restaurant was very empty by the way. The food was good. I would have liked to have more of the buffet breakfast

The Valentine’s Day experience was incredible. The live violinist was a such a vibe (felt like we were on an episode of Bridgerton). Staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely divine. So glad we booked.

Food was really good and service was excellent. The ambiance and overall experience in a beautiful venue was wonderful.

The menu is a bit small, but do they pack a punch! The kangaroo tartare tartlet and the lamb dup are both outstanding. Good wine list as well. But it’s not a very busy restaurant and the service is excellent.

The place is amazing and raised high expectations. The price we paid was considerably higher that what we have received. For instance, a 60 AUD price for 3 chicken strips and two bruschetta is less than acceptable, it is below everything we have seen. The adults menu was average to good, however the price of 135 AUD per person wasn’t justified. The service was good but the included tip of 132 AUD was much higher that we received. Overall, the place is nice, the service was good despite the waiters seemed to be busy and not attentive but it gave us the impression that is very self overrated and we felt we didn’t receive what we have paid for. We could have received more for 1.090 AUD dinner for 4 adults and 2 children.
