   Try not to sit near courtyard door that bangs every time a member of staff or a customer walks through. Also not happy with dogs laying next to tables where staff with hot plates could easily trip.

   45 mins for food to arrive. Food came cold. Eggs Benedict and eggs royale came with one egg (not as advertised on the menu) and no chives. Not great. Disappointed to have chosen here for Mother’s Day- was pretty embarrassing.

   We often meet up in Lucia as we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. However today we were seated at the table closest to the door and it was cold. Every time the door opened we had a blast of cold air. We made good use of the blankest but it didn’t really help. Other than that the food and service was good.

   While it's decorated well and has a lovely feel to the restaurant, I found the food quality below average, service average also, though the bill very high. I don't mind paying for great food and service, but they didn't achieve this on our visit.

    First visit and certainly not last. The ambience was lovely, the staff welcoming and the food was excellent.
