Lucia York is an all-day restaurant and cocktail bar serving a modern Italian menu feat. homemade pasta, gelato, pizza, pesce & carne dishes seven days a week.

Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

    I love coming to Lucia's. The ambiance is relaxed, the staff is friendly but professional, and the food is great, as always.

    We both ordered the roast beef Sunday dinner, service was quick but disappointingly the food wasnt very warm, the broccoli was fairly cold , Yorkshire pudding quite cold and the rest luke warm The flavours were lovely though especially the carrots and parsnips

    Service was a little slow,but the food was fantastic and made up for it.

    When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready and we were directed to an outdoor seat so waited in the cold. At the table, we waited another fifteen minutes for drinks. Food was ok - I’ve been to Lucia’s before and it was very disappointing in comparison. After our main course, we were asked if we wanted dessert but when we said we’d like dessert drinks we were told our time was up on the table. At this point we’d only been at the table for one hour. We were told we could move to the bar but, as we got up to move, another waitress brought people to the bar and there were no seats left. All in all, a terrible experience.

    Absolutely stunning place food amazing, pizza wasn’t anything special but the steak was amazing and the carbonara was the best my girlfriend has ever had

    My grandson had pizza , and he said it was lovely, My husband had steak as always when we dine here , I had a lasagna which was outstanding , Service is impeccable along with the ambiance and atmosphere, Carolina who booked us in and served us was just so polite cheerful, help in every way making my grandson his first time at Lucia an amazing experience, we just love Lucia and travel from Norfolk just to dine with you guys. 😃🥰

    Great food and ambience just let down during my dessert to be told the table was needed in 10 mins, 1hr 30 is not enough to enjoy 3 courses, felt like a canteen such a shame.

    Lovely place, well worth the money, drinks and food were amazing with a fantastic menu of choices. Staff were lovely!

    Food and service were fantastic. We both had the pizzas which were delicious. Dessert was lovely too sticky toffee pudding and the tiramisu which were generous portions. Cocktails were amazing too, glad we went and will definitely go back if we return to York
