Located in a historical home in the resort town of Dana Point, California, Luciana's Ristorante has been serving the Orange County community for over 40 years. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy European-style inn, establishing it as one of Orange County's most romantic restaurants. Awarded the Southern California Restaurant Writers gold medal since 1996, three stars from the California Restaurant Writers, Zagat's Survey "America’s 1,000 Top Italian Restaurants 2008" and an Award of Excellence for its wine list, Luciana's has been setting the standard for classic as well as innovative Italian cuisine.     This was my second time here and the food is delicious and the service is awesome. The only thing is I couldn’t get a reservation inside and I thought we were going to be on the enclosed patio next to the door, but we are in a tent like across the street, it was nice. It was just kind of weird. But I would still go back here again!

    Had a very noisy party next to us so we had our time hearing each other. The temperature was a little warmish.

    I picked this randomly after looking at reviews. It met all the reviews and expectations as I’m an Italian food snob. Everything was perfect and cooked to perfection. Service was also great and timely. Will definitely go again on my next visit Carol from Toronto.

    $35 to $45 corking charge 😳. For an Italian restaurant the bread was the worse I’ve have ever had.

    Dinner in the outdoor piazza No issues getting seated Very nice wine list, reasonable prices Shared appetizer, burrata, very nice and entire, lasagna also very good Paired well with nice Italian wine

    Hostess that seated us was very rude and not very welcoming. We asked to be moved to another table since we were in the patio and it was cold because we were in a spot where the wind came threw and she acted like she was doing us a favor - really a very poor attitude!!! Our waitor was new and really didn't know to much, he was making excusses for everything, sorry for the slow service, etc! We come to this restarant several times a year and never had such a poor experiance!!!

    The staff always makes us feel so welcome. José was very attentive and patient with our talkative group. The trout special was delicious and we were warm and toasty on the front patio. Love Luciana's!
