Formerly known as Locale Ristorante, the new owners have decided to change the name to Lucio's.
In the heart of the charming and diverse suburban town of Closter, New Jersey, there lies a culinary gem named Lucio's. This eatery is more than just a restaurant; it celebrates Italian tradition, love, and gastronomic excellence.

First time at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Pretty space, very nice atmosphere and great service. Everyone was very attentive and professional. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be regulars.

Always a pleasure to dine at Lucio’s, whether with family, friends, or both they never disappoint! The food is great, the staff is fantastic and Raul makes you feel like you are part of his family. Lucio’s is definitely a destination you must try! Go and enjoy some outstanding food and drink.

The owner is so accommodating. He made sure we were sitting at a table that made us comfortable. The servers knew everything on the menu and all the specials. They were very attentive. The food was delicious! This is a wonderful place to bring family and friends. Lucios is one of my favorite restaurants. Gloria

went for nye food was very good , but service was lacking . took a long time for bread and drinks to start. it was pre fixed and food was very good!

NYE is a tough night and the restaurant was slammed. The food was excellent and the staff had all they could handle. Overall they did an incredible job for such a tough evening.

this was my second time visiting Lucio’s. I am pleased to say my experience was just as nice. My husband and I were greeted and seated immediately. water and bread were immediately brought to the table. Our waiter Carlos, took our drink order and informed us of the specials . in no time, our drinks were served, and Carlos took our order. the dining room is very warm with soft, white walls with black accents, and white linens, white China, and sparkling crystal. my husband and I both opted for soup as an appetizer. I had lobster bisque which was prepared exactly the way it should be. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his French onion soup. for my entrée, I had a special, Pesto risotto with rock shrimp. It was heavenly, creamy and al dente, with the Perfect balance of basil, garlic. Olive oil, etc. my husband chose chicken franchese. It was lightly battered in a lemon butter sauce with fresh vegetables, also thoroughly enjoyed.. For dessert, we split Keylime pie, which we had on a previous occasion . outstanding. this restaurant will definitely be one of my top picks for 2025 , delicious food, very warm and accommodatimg staff, inviting ambience ...
