    We had to wait an hour for our reservation, and I think they may have just forgotten us. We saw that it was busy and we didn’t want to be a pain but waiting an hour for our reservation was a little crazy. But the bartending staff and the food absolutely made up for the wait. It was a fun dinner experience for our first time in portland. Would definitely return back to the Lucky Cheetah!

    Such a great experience. The staff were incredibly outgoing. We sat at the bar, which at first I was upset about but it ended up being the best! Was such an entertaining way to spend the New Year, meeting and talking with new people and trying new foods. Will definitely be spreading the word and hopefully coming back again ourselves!

    Had the prix fixe for NYE. The only thing what was decent was the mini corn. The rest was not good. I mean, I don’t go out of my way to write a bad review, but for the price I paid per head, that was of no quality. Really unfortunate and had high hopes. Would not return or recommend.

    Cheetah decor is impressive. Different than any other Portland scene. Wait staff excellent. Quick turnaround on tables but not rushed dining. Dim sum food very good.

    This is our third visit. I will say I think that the quality of food the first time we went was better not sure if some of the recipes have been tweaked a bit. The corn definitely tasted different and everything sort of had this higher heat spice level to it than the first time which was a little overpowering for the rest of the flavors.. It was very loud difficult to order and talk to the person at the table with you and it was very crowded.

    Our waiter was fantastic- we asked him for recommendations- they were exceptional! Our favorites were the tiny corn app, the lobster and crab dumpling and the pork fried rice. They sound simple but very gourmet! Cocktails were also wonderful!
