Lucky Robot is the first sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans.

Our kitchen is lead by two time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America.

Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the first in Texas. Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavor.

    Took my 13 yr old daughter, who has an adventurous palate, for a daddy/daughter date. Food was excellent, we loved the pork and ginger dumplings and the ramen was just right for her! Willow was also an excellent server! 😊

    The front of house staff is extremely disorganized and rather rude. We showed up 5 minutes early to check in and they asked us to leave only to allow about 40 people in immediately after we walked outside to wait. Extremely unprofessional behavior. The food was absolutely incredible though. I’d go again with the understand you’re dealing with relatively young and rude front of house staff. Our server was delightful and you could sense how frustrated she was with the host staff. She was excellent.

    We’ve gone here 3 years in a row for Valentine’s Day- it’s a perfect location for that. Food is really good and mostly worth the price, sushi/seafood is usually expensive anyway. Vibe is amazing and service is always impeccable. Always recommend.

    I always have such an amazing time here. The food and service is always incredible. Love that they have vegan options!

    Food is consistently amazing. Love the chicken Karaage and Brussel sprouts. The ambiance is one of my favorites.

    Truly one of the best if not the best restaurant I've been to in the 12 years I've lived in Austin. Everything was so fresh and everyone working there was so very pleasant! 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

    We always have a great time at Lucky Robot! The dry-aged fish make for the best sushi we’ve had in Austin. And the team/service there are the best by far!
