   Truly, this bar has the best view in Melbourne. Very romantic to go at sunset and be seated by a west facing window. Service excellent, cocktails and cheese platter excellent. Would like a slightly more comprehensive tapas menu so it could take place of a meal and we could have stayed and enjoyed the lights and cocktails longer. Would have definitely spent more $ with you if we didn’t feel the need to go out to dinner after the sunset. Also wish you could secure a window table with a booking. Our first table was set back and view very obstructed. Had interstate guest I wanted to impress. We were moved to window part way through the experience but would prefer to walk in to the dream table we asked for at booking, rather than being bumped by earlier walk ins.

   Amazing bar with fabulous views of the city. Melbourne at its best. Staff were personable, helpful and extremely professional. Lui Bar is a ‘must do’ if you are visiting Melbourne.

   Expected an amazing experience and was surprised to leave within 45 mins because the venue was freezing cold, extremely loud as though we were in a club, waiters were almost bumping into us for our experience because the seats were closely cramped and badly arranged (not their fault). Loud corporate groups nearby ruined the experience further. The drinks were fine, just ordinary cocktails you’d find at outer suburbs bar that’s trying to market itself as premium. The bar staff didn’t have the language to describe the differences between the drinks, only could call them ‘sweeter’ or ‘tart’. Pub ambiance for premium drinks prices. The view was stunning of course, but where we planned to spend a few hours for our anniversary we left early.

   Popped in for a drink to send off my wife on a holiday. The staff here are really friendly and the bar can make almost anything. I was a bit sad they removed their pour over expresso martini. That was great. Overall this place doesn’t disappoint.

   Nothing beats the view & exceptional service - The Lui Bar never disappoints!!! The Unearthed Mushroom Vol Au Vent whilst very yummy is a bit small, however the Fried Chicken, Crème Fraiche, Fermented Chilli is a massive serve and DELICIOUS!!! Air conditioning for tables on the window needs to be turned up or reconfigured for the Aussie summer - we sweated our way through the sunset but was worth it xxx
