Luke is a Creole-inspired Brasserie located in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District on world-famous St. Charles Avenue, steps from the French Quarter neighborhood. A lively atmosphere surrounds the raw bar offering the freshest seafood and oysters procured daily from the Gulf of Mexico. Chef Erick Loos is at the helm of the kitchen featuring dishes that highlight local purveyors and farmers’ market ingredients.     We visit here often. It is constantly a great meal. Service is always personable. On this visit, I had the Green Tomato Benedict. It was fabulous.

    Started out and quickly went south. I ordered a shareable as an entreé. It came out early like an appetizer but was served to me. I sat there staring at it not able to eat because my table compliant had not been served. We alerted another staff since our waitress decided to stop serving us. Quickly he had the other meals brought. The waffles were rubbery and chicken overcooked on chicken and waffles. The burger was overcooked and the fries were the extremely cheap variety and cold. We had to ask for more water and ask for a drink ordered with the meal. The bar drinks were good however.

    Pretty good overall. The snitzel is massive. Price was moderate. Typical $100ish for you and a significant other. Glad we tried the place.
