Lumbre is a tribute to the abundance of Baja Sur. In the kitchen the main component is the product of its land and seas; the most powerful tool is firewood; and global techniques are the perfect complement to enhance its flavor, providing balance and personality. We work with local fishermen, ranchers, and farmer friends to find the best existing products.
NEAT, our Lounge Bar upstairs has the most exciting and cosmopolitan vibe in town for a great night of drinks and chill.The atmosphere separates and transmits a different vibe to the dining area. Chillout and Live Music on Sundays, signature mixology and a special finger food menu to accompany the moment and a pleasant chat.

We were super excited to try this restaurant after reading about it on Trip Advisor. The presentation of the various dishes (set menu) was artistic and interesting. Everything was building up to the main course which ended up just being OK. My wife and I both had NY steak carne asada style and I candidly can make it better at home. So up until that point, all was good, and then we were underwhelmed. Bottom line, worth exploring, but didn’t quite live up to the hype.

The staff were all attentive and knowledgeable. The food was creative and delicious. My husband and I did the 6 course tasting menu and were super impressed. Each course was well thought out and packed with flavor.

Excelente servicio y atención, el lugar es agradable y las bebidas son muy ricas, el postre de elote está riquísimo. Sin embargo, los platillos que ordenamos nos parecieron simples.

Exquisita cocina mezcla de sabores Mexicanos tradicionales y otras mezclas. A nice romantic spot. There is jazz music upstairs. Just perfect

The food and flavor mix was amazing! The vibe was great. The only downside was the time between order and entre which was pretty long.

Our dining experience was excellent. The food was wonderful atmosphere was very modern and clean. Enjoyed talking to Cesar the chef.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal! Service from reception throughout dinner was attentive and friendly. Didier and Carla took great care of us. The food was outstanding with creative flavour combinations and beautiful presentation. The sea bass and pork belly were both amazing with tasty accompaniments and sauces. Lovely, warm interior design. Highly recommend! Thanks also to Alejandro for checking in on us to ensure we enjoyed our meal.

From our appetizer to our dessert our dinner was excellent! And the service was world class —that magical blend of competent friendliness that only the best restaurants seem able to achieve. Highly recommend!

A mixed experience. The food is outstanding and artfully prepared and presented. The service spotty and somewhat hampered by an incredibly noisy environment. Hard to hold a conversation at the table when the restaurant is busy.
