Lumière, our French-inspired brasserie with a fresh West Coast perspective. Honoring the Parisian love of delicious food, good company, and beautiful things, Lumière evokes the feeling of being transported to 1920s Paris. It is open for all-day service including weekend brunch and daily Happy Hour. Led by Executive Chef Ramon Bojorquez, Lumière is driven by the pulse of the season, using fresh, seasonal ingredients in refined dishes including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant embodies a design that is classic yet modern and chic, with authentically vintage furniture and fixtures paired with sumptuously rich jewel tones. Lumière offers unique identities within its restaurant - the brasserie for a longer stay, the patisserie for daily Parisian provisions, the bar for delightful cocktails and specialty wines and our outdoor French garden. For those guests interested in hosting private events, we offer a number of customizable spaces for parties, large and small including the Writer's Den and Solarium.

The food was overpriced when compared to value and extremely salty. The service was slow.

My partner and I visited on Valentine’s Day 2025, and enjoyed being seated early by a few minutes. We had a reservation, and the restaurant wasn’t at capacity, but service was slower than what you would expect. The staff was delightful, but clearly working too many tables (poor management/planning). It was quite loud even in the back areas from the live music and people talking over it. Food was extremely great with the steak tartar, escargot, braised pork, and ink squid spaghetti being our favorites. Cocktails were okay too. Valet from the hotel took about 12 minutes to retrieve our vehicle. Overall great food and solid dining experience, but not equipped to handle a Valentine’s Day “rush” and slightly overpriced.

I am French, this place is a disgrace for the French cuisine. There are many great French restaurants in Los Angeles.. chez Mia for example . Juliette is an other one. This restaurant serve a French cuisine you cannot even tolerate in a a gas station on the freeway in France.!

Loved it! The food portion was small (not American size), so we could enjoy a lot of plate! Thank you!

Excellent food….service…. and the atmosphere is very good. One note…. The music should be softer… lower key…. perhaps more European.

We are huge fans of the Fairmont hotels. Their consistency across locations is remarkable. Their staff is highly trained. As for Lumiere in particular, the restaurant is phenomenal. We have been there many times and every time without fail we have an amazing time and amazing food. Juan, our server today was phenomenal.

We just left Lumiere for NYE dinner and we had an awful experience. First, we found the Open Table listing to be extremely misleading. It states that there would be live music and the live music ended about 15 mins after we were seated (8:30pm reservation). It also stated there would be a champagne toast, which was assumed it would be at midnightas as one does on NYE, but it was not.  Secondly, the prefixed menu only offered meat and shellfish, no vegetarian option was available. This seems incredibly shortsighted especially in LA. None of these limitations were posted in the listing. Third, our waitress really soured the night. She seemed new and incredibly inexperienced. She struggled to guide us through the menu, which we had to order à la carte, due to a restricted prefixed menu. We were told we had to spend the same amount as the prefix, which we have no issues doing, but we struggled to get drinks to even make that possible (we’re not checked in on once after placing order). We were constantly reminded that the kitchen was closing and we were being rushed even though nothing was being brought out quickly and it was only 9:30pm on New Year’s Eve. The waitress went as far to tell us we could join the party in the lobby and she was wrong. The party was ticketed and we weren’t allowed in. She most certainly was incorrect in her information.  The manger on duty, agreed that we were problematic, after I made a statement trying to be nice saying “I hope we aren’t being problematic.” This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dinner out in LA. It was obvious that the staff and the place are new and do not have the kinks worked out yet. Putting on a special event without any foresight or planning ruined what we had hoped would be a truly memorable or even enjoyable evening.
