Lumière, our French-inspired brasserie with a fresh West Coast perspective. Honoring the Parisian love of delicious food, good company, and beautiful things, Lumière evokes the feeling of being transported to 1920s Paris. It is open for all-day service including weekend brunch and daily Happy Hour. Led by Executive Chef Ramon Bojorquez, Lumière is driven by the pulse of the season, using fresh, seasonal ingredients in refined dishes including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant embodies a design that is classic yet modern and chic, with authentically vintage furniture and fixtures paired with sumptuously rich jewel tones. Lumière offers unique identities within its restaurant - the brasserie for a longer stay, the patisserie for daily Parisian provisions, the bar for delightful cocktails and specialty wines and our outdoor French garden. For those guests interested in hosting private events, we offer a number of customizable spaces for parties, large and small including the Writer's Den and Solarium.

For a lighter (relatively speaking) meal, the onion soup has long been a go-to, and the steak tartare will now be likewise — glad I tried it.

We came in at 9 PM on a Monday for our anniversary, so the place wasn't very busy. The waitstaff was incredible! Our server was warm and helpful, and shared some great history about the hotel and the area. His suggestions were on point and the cocktails were strong. We felt right at home even though they were closing soon. The shared plates were amazing, especially the chicken liver mousse with olive oil jam. I would eat this every day of my life if I could afford it. Absolutely perfect. Their French onion soup was also the best I've ever had. To our server's credit, he did recommend the pork chop but I was in the mood for the bouillabaisse instead, curious to see if it could live up to the legendary, god-tier bouillabaisse at PK Oyster Bar in Vegas. I set myself up for disappointment. Too thin for my taste, too little seasoning. The steak frites plate was solid, if a little overcooked. Fries and broccolini were great though. We'll definitely be back and take the staff's advice on entrees next time! (Side note: Lumiere management, if you're reading this: you're on the verge of greatness if you can get your bouillabaisse recipe anywhere near Oyster Bar's level. More saffron, a bit of cream, and some spice. That bowl is one of the best meals on the planet and no restaurant in LA has been able to nail it down.)

Our group of four had a sampling of dishes, and all were excellent and cooked to perfection - braised short ribs, French onion soup, broccolini side, Bibb lettuce and Wedge salads, shrimp cocktail (with perfectly plump shrimp and perfectly balanced cocktail sauce), and fries with one of the best aioli I have had in a long time. We will certainly return!

The food was excellent, and the decor is lovely. However, the service was not at the same level. After being seated, the server went to the next table and had a long chat about where they were all from and had lived. it was probably 15 minutes in before I even got water. then when I ordered a glass of one of the two Sauvignon Blanc’s on the menu, she brought the wrong one and insisted that the one I had ordered was not a Sauvignon Blanc, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. Then it turned out that they didn’t even have the one I had ordered. I will say that the sommelier went out of his way to find a great sub substitute. Another problem was the menu, which was different from the one posted on Open Table. the two dishes that I had planned on ordering were not on the restaurants menu, and had I known that I probably wouldn’t have gone there. Finally, there was a huge event at the hotel and valet parking was a nightmare, both on the way in and out .

Everything about the restaurant is amazing Service’nin immaculate and food is as if you are in Paris. Only small part was the parking valet is overwhelmed with holiday season and wait times getting in and out maybe upwards of 20 minutes as people show up to their party in the hotel at the same time when you plan your dinner as well. But restaurant is a plus

Given the price point, service was not up to par starting from the valet to the wait staff. Food was pricey, but tasty. The amount of tuna in the salad Nicoise was extremely precious.

I celebrated my birthday at Lumière and I’ve never made a better decision. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, everyone on staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and our server, Stacy, was flawless. She made our experience personalized and so much fun, she made us feel like the only table in the restaurant. Every bite of food was delicious, and Stacy gave us so many excellent recommendations. My favorite dishes of the night were the seafood platter, the corn ravioli, and the lamb. After dinner we went and enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar, where the staff were extremely attentive and kind as well. Toby, a manager there, helped make the end of our night very special. Long story short, I may have to make this a birthday tradition.

Prix Fixe thanksgiving dinner. Badly understaffed. Portions small. Mostly decent quality. Nothing to get excited by or to pursue. At the end of the meal, presented with a substantial bill that included a 20% gratuity, but the waiter said “gratuity not included if you know what I mean” Not great form. Paid the increased bill and left, not planning to return.
