Nestled within The Flat Iron Hotel, a historic boutique hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, Luminosa's carefully designed space radiates a welcoming tavern ambiance. Our culinary heart is a wood-burning oven, infusing a "touch of fire" into handmade pizzas, house-made pastas, and locally sourced vegetables. In homage to Asheville's renowned brewery scene, Luminosa's beverage program features local brews, including an exclusive collaboration, alongside a diverse selection of cocktails and wines.

Our server, Dmitri, was personable, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was innovative and delicious. My personal preference would have been for more of an Italian ambience (music, e.g.) but it's clear Luminosa is seeking to appeal to a young, hip clientele. My wife and I had a delightful dinner experience and would readily recommend this eatery to others.

Staff was very attentive and friendly. It was our first time and the waiter took the time to explain the restaurant and menu. Received table at time of reservation. Food was very good and arrived quickly after ordering. We ordered multiple pasta dishes and shared with our dinner group.

Such a great experience overall! Our server, Felix, was on point, and the food was delicious! And to top it off, the personalized birthday card for my wife made the night! Thank you to the entire team for that! Highly recommend!

We had great food and great service. The bread service, rigatoni, and pizza were all fantastic. We plan to visit again next time we are in town!

Our reservation was delayed as the guests who had our table were slow to leave. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes. When we were seated, our server, David, brought us 2 free appetizers which were delicious. However, the kitchen must have been backed up because we had to wait for our main course. When we were finally served, it was delicious! Except for the waiting, everything was exemplary. We explored the rooftop bar, visited the Speakeasy in the basement which was wonderful and then had a delicious meal with excellent service. We look forward to returning soon!

Amazing food service could have been better didn’t get served for 20 minutes once we got seated.
