   Horrible service. I’ve been a previous customer multiple times and this time me and my man went out for our anniversary. He lives in Connecticut and drove 5 hours. Our reservation was booked over three weeks in advanced. We provided both our ID’s, mind you they have not ID me every time I’ve been there. Anywho, she claimed that his ID was a fake and was not scanning meanwhile that is his ID. Then they proceeded tell me I can’t order drinks either. All the waiters were looking as his ID circling around as I’m over hearing one of the waiters talking about him badly.

   Extraordinary italian cuisine from the appetizers to the desserts. Very generous protion sizes, so I felt like there was a great value as well. I have no complaints, everything was magnificent and the service was fantastic!

   Service was excellent... Valentines menu, so it was very expensive - and expected that... no problem with that. But even if it was moderately priced, their filet mignon pasta special contained beef that was well below the standard of even a basic chain steak place. Only other downside is that tables are crammed in so tight... I was at a busy DMV office earlier in the day and had more room to groove there. Sounds like a horrible review, but I'll be back to give it another try on a regular night.

   It was busy - day before Valentines after all- so it was noisy and we sat in a middle of the floor table. It does not appear there are "intimate" spaces, but I did look at all areas. It is cute-with a balcony facade, gas fireplace, and plastic hanging wisteria vines. The food was the show stopper. I had the short rib ravioli. The 1st bite was unbelievable because the creamy sauce had a definitive short rib flavor! The sauce had salty bits of pancetta, pops of peas, and pieces of mushrooms complimenting the 4 or 5 oversize raviolis with delicate filling of short rib. The portion was substantial but I was able to finish it, only having had two small rolls prior. Others around us getting salads and appetizers looked like they barely touched their entrees before boxing them to go! My husband had lasagne, which was delicious as well. The sauce was hard to explain but once when my Italian husband made spaghetti sauce, he said he "over-meated" it (the 1st time I ever heard meat used as a verb!)...so this sauce for the lasagne was like that-it seemed like equal portions of delicately ground (not lumps like typical ground meat) meat and rich sauce with stringy mozzarella. I only had a small bite but my husband finished it as well. He did sit awhile contemplating the last bite. I thought of "Man vs. Food" -- "One more bite! One more bite!" The bathroom was clean and desserts were yummy looking and I would go back for the owner's housemade lemon or almond cake.

   Our overall experience at Luna was good, with the food tasty but not exceptional. Major complaint is that the tables are very close together and the restaurant is very noisy on a busy night.
