   Excellent food and excellent service. We had the set Sunday lunch at £39.50 for three courses and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and approachable and clearly a great team. Would recommend.

   We had the most incredible experience at Lunar Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the breath-taking ambiance and atmosphere—it was truly stunning and set the perfect tone for our date night. The evening started with a fascinating tour and history of the restaurant, which added a unique and thoughtful touch to our visit. It’s not often you get such an immersive introduction before your meal, and it made the whole experience feel even more special. The food was absolutely exceptional—every dish was crafted with care and precision, and the flavours were out of this world. I had the scallop starter and lamb main, and both were absolutely succulent, cooked to perfection. My husband had the mushroom arancini starter and steak main, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The steak was like butter in your mouth—absolutely divine! Every bite was well worth the money. The service matched the quality of the food; it was flawless from start to finish. Lee, the restaurant manager, was nothing short of amazing. His attentiveness and warm personality made us feel like VIPs the entire night. After our meal, we had the pleasure of enjoying after-dinner drinks in the private sitting room. What a brilliant idea! It was such an elegant and cosy space to unwind. To top it all off, the bartender went above and beyond by making me a Vesper martini—my favourite—and it’s such a rare treat to find someone who knows how to make it perfectly. Bonus points for that! This was my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last. Funnily enough, my husband was born and bred in Stoke on Trent, yet he’d never heard of Lunar Restaurant before. I was thrilled to surprise him with such a hidden gem in his hometown. Overall, Lunar Restaurant is a must-visit. Whether it’s for a special occasion, date night, or just a memorable evening out, this place delivers on every level. We can’t wait to return!

   The lady in my life only had 1 negative comment about the ladies toilets she said the toilets was quite low & the seats didn't fit,but I didn't have find any problems in the Gents

   It’s like nothing I have experienced before, excellent food and service in an unusual and unique place. No, it’s not cheap but here you really do get what you pay for. Try it, even if only once.

   My friends and I tried the lunch time menu. Without a doubt we will be booking again. Food service was exceptional what a wonderful way to spend a afternoon with friends

   The food was excellent quality but my husbands only comment would be one scallop was a little expensive as a starter. A nice touch with the birthday card.

   It was a lovely birthday meal and the card was a lovely gesture, service was impeccable. The atmosphere a little bland and not really much atmosphere, sorry, not many in and a bit quiet, it is Jan but still a bit quiet even for Jan. We were late, but they were lovely about it ( snow) food amazing! Drinks high priced, you are in stoke, and we aren't Essex guys! , but the service was superb! Overall lovely time, great offer on the food, maybe bit more on the menu would be great, a choice of 2 starters and 2 puddings was a bit restricted . Overall a 3/5 maybe back, if I get a bonus on my wages ! Thanks to the staff

   Lunar is a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Ww love it. Our new 'go to' place. The standard of food is superb and at reasonable prices. In our opinion you can't go wrong at Lunar.

   My first visit to Lunar - lunch to celebrate my partner's birthday. Was I happy with the experience? Totally, I've just booked a dinner date in June to celebrate our anniversary.
