   Staff were lovely and helpful. The Sunday lunch was very good but please investigate a better way to keep the food hot - vegetables in particular were quite cold by the time we were half way through what was on the plate.

   Overall an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is modern in design, and sports a huge moon suspended from the ceiling to ensure that the patrons understand the full meaning of the restaurant’s adjectival title. The cooking was good though the menu was rather limited. The mark-up on wine raised my eyebrows a little, and the wine list was annoyingly inexplicit: no vintages, no alcohol content, no quantities for wine served by the glass. My other irritant was the coffee; it was a good espresso, but the jug containing the hot water which I had requested had no handle so I was unable to pick it up without burning my fingers! Service, however, was impeccable: efficient, friendly, helpful. I’d go back.

   Beautiful interesting restaurant. We were given a tour by the friendly staff. The breakfast could have been better but it was nice . We had the avocado and eggs but there was only one small piece of sourdough bread which we thought wasn’t enough. We would also have liked to have had Buck’s Fizz with our breakfast but it wasn’t on the menu and it couldn’t be done.

   A very enjoyable lunch experience, with a varied, interesting, and tasty menu. Sam was super friendly and helpful and even took our questions to chef!! Highly recommended for a special lunch or just an extra experience to the Wedgewood day. Only negative was that the wine was little on the expensive side, when having a whole bottle, but food was very reasonably priced and portions are generous. Well done and Thank you

   Went for birthday breakfast, found it a little odd that they wouldn't serve a Mimosa/Bucks Fizz, and offered non-alcoholic Prosecco as an alternative. Wondered if it was something to do with their license, so just went with it and had OJ. Then noticed a nearby table order champers. Strange as they clearly had the ingredients? Food was lovely and toward the end of service a pianist rocked up and this really added to the ambiance.

   Superb food and good wine. A unique setting. Service was very good, especially given that they explained they were short staffed in the kitchen and comp’d our starters as an apology. Lucy was an amazing waitress, and Lee a professional house manager. Wine waitress also very helpful (didn’t catch her name)

    Linar was an exceptional experience. More than a meal. Finding out about the Lunar Society (the back story) was enlightening. The design and decor of the restaurant was incredible and reflected that story perfectly. The service was exceptional. Our host Lee was wonderful and knowledgable. The food was Michelin Quality. And the price was the biggest surprise. Such good value one wonders if it is still the Wedgwood subsidised cafe
