A terrace overlooking the Arno, near to the beautiful Ponte Vecchio, in the center of Florence. For 15 years this charming bistrot has been exalting Chianina meat (local cattle breed) certified Igp with its proposals. From Florentine T Bone steak to gourmets hamburger from creative tartares to the beloved Chianina beef sushi. Our dishes are prepared exclusively with seasonal ingredients, coming from local and artisanal realities of the Tuscan territory and beyond; we offer a rich choice of strictly seasonal Tuscan dishes, without forgetting vegetarian customers. We celebrated New Year’s Eve dinner at Lungarno 23 and had a wonderful experience. We appreciated that they didn’t have a set menu, allowing each of us to choose exactly what we wanted. The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly helpful, especially for those of us who don’t speak Italian. The restaurant’s location across the river added to the charm, making for a lovely walk to and from our hotel. My only minor gripe was that it seemed to attract a lot of American tourists, but that didn’t detract from the overall experience.

We booked this restaurant for Xmas Eve dinner and walked 20 mins to find out the restaurant was closed…

Very disappointing since we we walked a long way for the supposed view and reputation of the restaurant. The menu choice was poor , and nothing more than a burger joint. I asked for mine well done, it was letón the pass , so the cheese had solidified. The burger bun was a stale roll. Dishes for the mains did not arrive togethr

Delicious meal with several gluten free options. Enjoyed the cheese plate for an appetizer. Bolognese was fantastic!

We had a great experience at Lungarno 23. I highly recommend dining here. Our waiter Petero did a great job looking after 2 members of our group that were GF. Food in Florence is of a high standard and you won't go wrong at Lungaeno 23!

Enjoyed Filet with mushrooms and vegetables! So good. Puerto was a fabulous waiter and very responsive! Awesome experience!
