Famed New York City restaurateur Anthony Scotto brings his decades of experience to Nashville's Gulch neighborhood with Luogo. Named after the Italian word for “the place,” this must-visit destination focuses on upscale, authentic Italian food featuring many of Scotto's iconic dishes, with the focus being coastal cuisine.

For groups of 11 or more and private event inquiries, please reach out to Holly at holly@luogorestaurant.com.

20% gratuity will be applied to groups of 8 or more. Split checks may be divided up to 4 credit cards at equal value. ​A corkage fee of $55 per 750ml will be applied to guests bringing their own wine (limit 2 bottles). A dessert plating fee of $5 per person will be applied to any outside desserts brought by guests.

    The food is nicely presented but the fish was dry and needed seasoning. The short ribs we not very flavorful either. The pasta dishes were very good. The place was packed and very loud like many restaurants at this time. I would give the food and service an average rating for an expensive meal. Service was slow, water never refilled, I had much better meals elsewhere.

    First time eating here! It’s a busy restaurant, but the staff is very welcoming and works well together to take care of their guests. We loved everything! We ordered the Fried Ricotta Balls, Duck Ragu, Short Rib, and a side of their amazing Polenta. Additionally, we wanted to try a new wine, and their wine steward was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He helped us choose the perfect wine. We will definitely be returning and telling others about this place!

    Expected better. Food was ok the service was mediocre didn’t appreciate the condescending tone from the server

    The food and service was outstanding. We sat in the way back but it was like having a private room. We did eat early though.

    My fish was completely over cooked .... but the server was so cool I didn't want to say it to them

    Brought my dad and his business partners here for dinner. Our first time dining, the staff were accommodating with my adding people to my reservation which I appreciated. Food was delicious. We sat on the patio which was a bit noisy but that’s to be expected next time a busy road. They do not validate or discount parking. Our server was good but slow, he was not super attentive and took a long time to come get our dinner and our dessert orders. Can we start adding QR codes on menus to bring us to a pdf version of the menu in other languages? Some of my dad’s business partners are Spanish speaking and it was a bit more difficult for them to navigate the menu. Overall an enjoyable and delicious experience and will dine here again.

I apologize for any loud traffic driving by. Usually our spot on 12th is moderately quiet but there can be outliers from time to time. I'm sorry, we do not validate parking but all of our guests are welcome to the valet service we provide next door. I'm sorry that you found the service to be slow and I will be sure to address this with the team. We certainly take this feedback seriously to improve for all future guests.     It’s so loud during peak dining hour that you can’t talk to each other, let alone the staff. Something needs to be done to curtail the noise, seriously! We opted to dine inside thinking it would be quieter, but it was so loud inside. I was happy to see they were so busy though. I think this is the third restaurant in this space and they are definitely attracting more diners than their predecessors. Service and drinks were great! I wish I recalled our server’s name, she was a delight! On to the food. The olives that are on the table when you are seated are amazing! The Frito Misto appetizer was just okay and served with tartar sauce. The entrees were okay, but not yummy as described by our server. Everyone’s tastes are different, so you can’t fault someone for recommending something they like. I had the lobster/langoustine pasta. The pasta and sauce were tasty, but there was only one piece of lobster claw meat and the langoustine were very small and overcooked. It was only $42, so reasonably priced for what it was, but I’d rather pay $60 and get better quality/quanity. We also ordered the bucatini cauliflower dish. It was so small that it looked like an appetizer. It was tasty, but much spicier than advertised. It was also unseasoned and when we asked for salt to several employees, it took at least 10 minutes to get the salt at which point the pasta was cold. I’m not a chef and don’t understand the idea that a chef can season a dish and be offended if you want more salt. Put salt and pepper on the table or be more attentive to guests. The Branzino was fabulous, but there was so much celery and celery leaves on it which detracted from the dish. We love celery but this was over the top on celery. We asked for to go containers for two items. The person who delivered the bag to our table put the bag down in my face essentially. Very rude as there were only three of us. Seemed like they were rushing us out after spending almost $400.

    I selected this restaurant because I have celiac disease and need to feel comfortable with a kitchen and staff's understanding of how to prepare food safely. This is especially important to me when I am travelling away from home. Luogo did not disappoint in the safety department but also in offering multiple options of all the courses (appetizer, entree, dessert) for someone like me. It was an absolute treat to be able to select foods I WANTED to eat, as opposed to having to choose foods that I COULD eat. The food was also incredibly delicious (my nonceliac husband can attest!) and the service top-notch. I wish I lived closer to enjoy Lougo again soon! Thank you for a fabulous last night in Nashville!
