Royal Romance Afternoon Tea

This Valentine’s Day, treat your loved one to an afternoon of romance and history at Luttrellstown Castle. Set in the elegant Van Stry Ballroom and surrounded by the charm of our historic Irish castle, it is the perfect way to create lasting memories with someone special.

Luttrellstown Castle has played host to many distinguished royals, including Queen Victoria and Princess Grace of Monaco. This year’s theme celebrates that rich history, offering a romantic afternoon with a menu and atmosphere influenced by timeless royal traditions.

Available on Sunday, 9th and Saturday, 15th February, our afternoon tea offers an indulgent selection of traditional sandwiches, delectable pastries, and freshly baked scones.

Prices are €70 per person for Afternoon Tea, €85 for Champagne Afternoon Tea, and €30 for Children's Afternoon Tea, which includes a soft drink.

A special day out with family was made even more celebratory by the splendor of the castle, the stunning grounds and a wonderful lunch.

Our family Christmas tradition is Afternoon Tea in Luttresltown Castle Resort. This year unfortunately the service was not at its usual standard.

A unique experience of afternoon tea in a in a real castle, which was lived in by the Guinness family till a few years ago.

Thank you so much for the lovely food and desserts 🍮 with our afternoon tea experience. We loved the tour around the castle- all absolutely amazing. We loved the atmosphere, Mădălina and Răzvan was very welcoming and made us feel special. Recommend it and would come back anytime. 10/10

Me and my partner love going for afternoon tea in historic hotels/ places. Ireland has some amazing locations. This was on my list for a long time and it didn’t disappoint! The food was exceptional as was the service. The castle itself is beautiful and has some very nice features. The only downside side was our interaction with security! They bordered on rude, and it left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths! Aside from that it was great and we would definitely go back.

Repeat customers however little disappointed. Tea bags in teapot but served with strainer. No decoration for Valentines Day. Still lovely location, ambience & staff.
