Delve into a special menu highlight showcasing the rich flavours of Italy with a selection of signature pasta dishes, curated by our Michelin-trained head chef, Salvatore Rizzato, from Rome, Italy. This unique collaboration skillfully blends tastes from his homeland with a Queensland inspired twist, expertly prepared by our passionate chefs at Lyrebird under his guidance.

For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

A delightful start to a matinee performance at QPAC. Very busy which probably contributed to some slow service. Food selection adequate, more variety in sweet items needed.

We have enjoyed the High Tea several times and it does not disappoint. It make a matinee at QPAC so relaxed and enjoyable. The food is excellent, the staff are pleasant and efficient.

Lovely restaurant and we had a beautiful dinner before seeing a show on Saturday night. Service was prompt and time schedule kept to. Service was lovely but lacking in knowledge when it came to a recommendation for a wine matched with a pasta dish. Overall a buzzing venue with delicious food and great for a special occasion.

Being a regular customer, the experience on 28 Feb. was the worst. We arrived 10 min. earlier than our booked time; but had to wait for 38 minutes for our food while customers at other table arriving later were having their orders. After letting the manager know of this, food was delivered shortly. We were prepared for ordering dessert, yet a bill was presented without our request for it nor asking us if we wanted to order anything else. We then decided to pay rather than having to deal with the waitress again. All this is forgiven as we have been at Lyrebird frequently, we treated this as an odd occasion.

The food is always good. Unfortunately, this time our food was not hot. Going to a show so didn't complain. We only drank water and had to ask for refill. No bottles of water allowed on the table. The passionfruit and berry desert was the best part of the meal.

Excellent food as always. Love the new menu. Service was slower than usual between entree & main but as pre-theatre experience it is perfect
