This was probably one of the worst experiences I have encountered when making a booking at a bar. We were there to celebrate a special occasion with a colleague, had made our reservation weeks in advance. When we arrived, there was a function being held in the main part of the bar, we thought they must have made a mistake in taking our booking but we were shown to an area to the side and seated, all of this was completely fine with us. Within minutes of arriving, we hear one of the event organisers (not from M bar) complaining that we might eat their food and why were we able to sit in the bar whilst they ran their event! We ordered our drinks and the team from the event then went into another area to continue their conference. We were not being loud, we were just speaking and laughing and still had not received our drinks when the same complaining person came out to complain again about us making noise that they could apparently hear through the wall. They even approached our table to complain to us directly, and very rudely about our socialising - the bar staff stood back and said nothing. We let them know that we had made a reservation at a bar, not a library, and were not doing anything wrong by talking. (At this point - they were making far more noise than us with their complaining!) The bar manager finally came to the table and offered us a seat in the restaurant, which was not what we'd booked at all and not the atmosphere we were after at 4pm. In the end we decided to leave, without one drink, without even an apology. I would not recommend this bar if you would like to have a conversation with your colleagues, very disappointing and poorly managed.

Tables were too small at the M-Bar, so we were moved to the main Dining area. This was where I thought the booking was supposed to be. Must have been a Senior moment, confused during the online Booking process. Excellent food, and not expensive. Thankyou.

Was able to book via app, then was contacted by hotel to cancel. Very disappointed as it was short notice and we where unable to find a replacement,seems to be a disconnect between the app and venue.

Service was great and the food we ordered from the M Bar menu was delicious. We had some cocktails and they were very good also. The Friday night when we visited had live music and there was a great atmosphere and ambience in the space. Highly recommend.

Great service and we were really impressed that our request for a quiet space was absolutely taken care of. Excellent, friendly service. We’d recommend the bar for sure.
