BYOB French restaurant with a unique blend of Southern-inspired cuisine and bistro classics: think Confit Fried Chicken and Waffle, and Beef Bourguignon. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with antique mirrors lining the walls, candlelight, and warm and friendly service. We have seasonal outdoor seating along a lovely alleyway with potted blooms and bird serenades.

Located on historic Antique Row, this charming spot is a great place to meet for a special occasion, date-night, business meal, or a casual dinner with friends.     Food was delicious. We had the Caesar salad, salmon, and smash burger. Service was friendly and professional. Romantic and intimate vibe. Highly recommend.

    Second time back for brunch, and Mabu keeps growing on me. Lovely intimate space, nice background music, wonderful menu, warm service, reasonable prices - what more could you ask for? I had the French omelet last time and the Croque Madame this time, both of which were terrific. The accompanying salad was also simple and tasty - a pleasant surprise when so many side salads at restaurants don't complement the food or add anything. The only downside is that I live in the suburbs - if i were closer, I would be eating there every week!

    The website did not indicate that a special, very limited menu would be available on Valentine's Day. As a vegetarian, the limited options were not appealing.

    Delightful dinner with friends--delicious and wait staff so kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed both of the salads and the salmon rillette special plus the brick chicken and shrimp and grits. Oh, and the mud pie for dessert. Every bite was amazing, and we really appreciated that we were not rushed! Fantastic meal. What a gem!

    Lovely first time visit to Mabu and will definitely be back. Ambiance and food outstanding! So many more things to explore on the menu.

    Good food, friendly service. Accommodations are pretty tight when the restaurant is full. One minor complaint: I usually drink diet beverages which weren’t available. Would return.

    We tried this because it is in walking distance to the Kimmel center and is French. The food is good and good value. Service is efficient and friendly. Our one disappointment was being seated at table #1 which is just inside the door and every time someone comes in it is cold and then they stand over your table to wait to be seated. Ambience was good otherwise

    We love Mabu. It’s such a cosy restaurant. The waiters are always attentive and the food is amazing. It is a BYOB place so make sure to bring your own wine. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment.
