Bringing all-day brunch and grab-and-go coffee to Normal Heights, Madi is the upcoming daytime counterpart to Madison on Park, the well-established mid-century modern restaurant and bar that opened in University Heights in 2015.

Offering a quick-service coffee counter fueled by Heartwork Coffee out of Mission Hills that’ll feature the full range of espresso drinks, specialty beverages, and tea as well as fresh pastries, Madi will also be an anytime option for sit-down breakfasts, mimosa-powered brunches, and casual lunches.

Its breakfast menu ranges from waffle churro sticks and breakfast burritos to skirt steak eggs Benedict and a variety of pancakes based on a 60-year-old recipe from Madison co-owner Matthew, whose family runs a century-old breakfast spot in the midwest.

Lunch will hinge on build-your-own grain and salad bowls along with lettuce wraps, ceviche, a burger, and a classic Tuna Melt!

Our server took 20 minutes to get to the table, had a very bad attitude, never brought water. Our food came out before our coffees and then we were asked to take the rest of our coffee to go when we were done eating. The food was delicious, but I would go to their location Madison over returning to this place.

Food was great. Service was great. Place is very lively and bright inside. They do have an outside but it was raining so we ate inside. Had Peach and basil Mimosas. Very yummy. Blueberry and lemon pancakes, Chilaquiles Verdes and The G.O.A.T. Excellent all of them. You can't go wrong. Get in here.

Cute little spot!! Their lattes are delicious but be warned because they switch up the flavors .. so sometimes my fav flavor isn’t there :(

I had been to Madi for brunch but decided to try their lunch menu with a friend. The service here is always friendly and prompt with water being delivered soon after being seated, and our server checking on us multiple times during our meal. We enjoyed the calmer pace of the lunch crowd on a weekday (vs brunch on weekend) and enjoyed the chicken pesto sandwich and Thai crunch salad with salmon. Great sized portions and a good overall value. Would come back for lunch in the future!

First time here, was very busy waitress was busy but it was fine. Very noisy thought. Food was really delicious though -have been looking for a great burger and I think we found it!!! Tasty and the thin fries were just the way I like them. Made my day

Madi is our go-to brunch place in the North Park / Normal Heights / Kensington area. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service has always been top notch. The servers care about your dining experience and are willing to take the extra time to make sure it is memorable. I will continue to bring people to this restaurant.
