Welcome to Madre Osteria & Bar! Located in Milton, MA on the ground level of Milton Landing overlooking the Neponset River. Offering a modern approach to classic, rustic Italian cuisine created by Chef Sam Curtis. Think house-made Foccacia and specialty grande meatballs. Entrees include Truffle Risotto, Braised Short Rib, and Wild Boar Ragú. In addition to Italian and seafood dishes, we also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options.

The interior design of Madre is both elegant and casual. We offer a full bar and wine list. Seating options include tables, high tops, a bar, and a beautiful outdoor patio.

We are right down the road from our sister restaurants Lower Mills Tavern and Yellow Door Taqueria in Dorchester - perfect spots to grab a drink before or after your reservation!

Decent food and very good service and ambiance. We arrived right at 7:30 for our reservation but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The worst part of the restaurant is the music they play. Would have been so much better with no music at all. If you feel you need it maybe some light jazz. Trust me / no one wants to eat to the sounds of “Whip It” playing in the background.

Was very busy and our table was 30 minutes late, but server was great and restaurant was decorated so nicely! Overall good experience.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with festive holiday decorations and a vibrant vibe! The food was excellent—we started with the house-made focaccia and a Caesar salad, followed by the chicken parm and spaghetti with meatballs. My only suggestion would be to serve the bread warm; since it's not complimentary, the added warmth would elevate the experience. Overall, everything else was spot on!

Delicious food and wonderful service . Only complaint is the $9 charge for bread (focaccia) . We shared the harvest salad , eggplant rollatini and butternut ravioli , everything was great and the restaurant is beautiful. I definitely plan on going back
