We were a party of 3, including an out of town friend for dinner. Everyone should note that the door is pretty much unlabeled and its not the easiest place to find from the outside. Inside is warm and inviting, the decor is perfectly matched to the cuisine and experience. Parking was super easy. The ceviche is great, especially the 2 with the catch of the day. The trio wasn't a great deal, but the full orders are reasonable enough. The mains were small and sharable. Ultimately I would recommend getting a couple ceviches and a couple mains to pass around your table. Everything was very tasty! Definitely a good spot for a group of friends, but would also be a nice place for date night.

Great Sunday Brunch with my ladies here. Everything we ate was so delicious and our server was exceptional in giving us feedback on what to get and share as a table. Fresh food and good company.

The food was good but unfortunately our table was too small to hold it all. Our server was very un-attentive and clearly did not want to participate in our culinary experience. Damn good Margaritas!!!!!! Pricey for what you actually get.

Madre selva has become one of my favorite places by far, the vibe and cuisine create an experience like no other. It all reminds me of home! Sebastian and Jimmy the bartenders were super attentive and always give amazing recommendations. What an amazing staple in Buckhead, definitely a must try.

This is my second time dining at Madre Selva. It is a beautiful restaurant with delicious and flavorful food and drink options. Both times that I went everyone loved their food and their drinks. I especially love the bright freshness of their ceviches, sushi rolls and really all of their fish & seafood options. I will definitely be making another visit here. It’s best to go in warmer weather when all the doors and windows are open. Gives Miami vibes in the middle of Atlanta.

For a lively night with music and a full bar scene, go on a Friday or Saturday evening when live DJs and energy are at their peak. If you prefer a quieter meal for conversation, aim for early weekday dinners, Sunday or earlier lunch/brunch times, guests report those are calmer and better for dining leisurely.

Yes, Madre Selva is a popular date-night spot with a stylish, intimate vibe, handcrafted cocktails and standout Peruvian dishes like ceviche and Lomo Saltado. Expect a buzzy, well-designed dining room with live DJs or jazz some evenings, which creates a lively atmosphere great for a fun night out. If you want a quieter, more intimate table, aim for an early weekday or call ahead, several guests note the music can get loud on weekend nights.

The Ceviche Carretillero and Lomo Saltado are frequently called must-tries, guests consistently single out ceviche (multiple varieties) and the Lomo Saltado as favorites. Other highly recommended plates include octopus (Octopus Anticuchero), scallops (Parmigiano Conchitas) and the Inferno Half Chicken. Plan to try ceviche and a shared main for a representative experience.

Families do dine here, but it’s not primarily a kids’ restaurant. Guests bring teens and celebrate birthdays, yet the music and lively atmosphere can be too loud for very young children and there’s no kids menu. If bringing younger kids, choose an earlier seating and call ahead to discuss menu flexibility.

Madre Selva offers a stylish, modern jungle-inspired interior with a warm, lively vibe, elegant yet energetic. Guests consistently praise the décor, presentation and sensory experience, with DJs or live music on many nights. Note that the music can be loud and the setting buzzy, which many guests love but can make quiet conversation difficult.

It depends on your goal: choose Friday or Saturday for the full lively vibe, live music and bar scene. Pick a weekday evening, Sunday, or an early seating if you prefer a quieter, more relaxed dinner where conversation is easier.

Yes, guests and the menu indicate special and seasonal offerings (special Valentine’s Menu, Nikkei specials and occasional new items). The restaurant runs masterclasses and themed nights, so expect rotating features and occasional limited-availability cocktails or plates.

Business casual is the posted dress code. Guests tend to dress smart-casual for date nights and special occasions, think neat, polished attire rather than athletic or beachwear.

Yes, guests describe an al fresco/patio option and outdoor seating. Several reviews mention pleasant patio dining and an outdoor area; if you prefer outdoor seating, request it when you reserve, since the space is described as limited.

Yes, Madre Selva offers special experiences like a Ceviche Masterclass and hosts live music/DJ nights. Guests frequently mention the Ceviche masterclass with Chef Carlos and occasional themed menus (e.g., Valentine’s Menu), so watch their event calendar or ask when booking.

There are no private-party rooms listed, the restaurant is an intimate, well-designed dining room with a bar, chef-counter vibe and an al fresco/patio option. Madre Selva accepts larger parties but does not advertise private rooms; for larger or special seating needs call ahead to confirm arrangements.

Yes, guests commonly make reservation notes (birthday, seating requests) and the team often tries to accommodate. That said, several guests reported mixed experiences where birthday notes or special requests weren’t honored, so call the restaurant directly to confirm and follow up before your visit to ensure requests are noted.
